1. Which are the problems of Internet not working

2. What is server connection issue?

Unexpected network failure at one of our upstream network providers that affect the connectivity to
your host server.

3. List the common network problems

A. High Bandwidth Usage


B. High CPU Usage
C. Physical Connectivity Issues
D. Malfunctioning Devices or Equipment

4. You encounter that the Internet connection of the company where you are working has been
down for quite a long time, what would you do?

If the Internet connection is down we do following steps:

1. Restart the modem and/or router


2. Check the lights on the modem/router
3. Forget and rejoin the wireless network or remove the wire and insert again if connection is
wired
4. If the above steps don’t resolve the problem contact internet service provider (ISP)

5. What do uploading and downloading mean?

Uploading means data is being sent from your computer to the Internet.

Downloading means your computer is receiving data from the Internet.


6. Explain problems related with physical connectivity of hardware devices

7. Explain problems related with maintenance of devices?

a) The computer gets too hot: Overheating can in turn cause multiple damage to the equipment
b) The hard drive is full: Having your hard disk in such conditions can cause a number of problems,
such as slowing down your computer or making it impossible to continue saving data.
c) Your computer has malware: The presence of malware can cause significant damage, such as
theft of sensitive data.
d) The computer is too old: If computer doesn’t do its job it’s time for replacement.

8. Which are the problems experienced when installing the software?

I. Installation closed with local administrator rights required message.


II. There was not enough disk space to complete the installation.
III. Installation stopped before copying all the files to the computer.
IV. Run-time error message.
