My fascination with business started at a young age and this curiosity led me to choose commerce in 12th
standard. Watching entrepreneurship shows sparked a desire to understand how businesses operate. This
interest made me pursue a Bachelor's in Commerce from Delhi University, where I delved into the intricacies of
the business world. Growing up, I realized the importance of developing skills and values in my life, that I would
not have been taught in any institution. Moving to a new country during my teenage years opened my eyes to
the importance of diversity in all aspects of life. I was a part of school badminton team and played for
interschool competitions, I also won the district level gold medal in the odyssey of mind. Participating in sports
and extracurricular activities during school not only made learning fun but also instilled in me the importance
of teamwork and ethics.

During college, I got the opportunity to take part in various case study competitions and quizzes which made
me develop a keen interest in problem solving skills. I was a part of the Enactus, research and development cell
where we researched on different aspects of our society and how a small change can lead to a sustainable and
Eco-friendly environment. We started a project named ‘Nawah’ that swapped plastic items with Bamboo
products particularly in consumer items and handicrafts. Being the Finance Associate of the consulting club in
college was a defining experience. As a part of the society, I got the opportunity to lead a team of consultants
who collectively offered consultancy services, research, marketing, technology, and Assistance. Through this
opportunity I was able to learn more about leadership skills, networking & relationship building, and event
organization & management. As a Team lead, I Coordinated and collaborated with mentors from EY, Bain & Co.,
BCG, and Deloitte, fostering a strong network and relationship with top-tier consulting firms. Organized
engaging sessions focused on guesstimates and case cracking, equipping candidates with essential skills and
knowledge for success in the consulting industry. College societies made me realise that to be at a leading
position one must be able to communicate properly the goals that have been set and one personality trait that
I think would make me a good manager are my communication skills. Successfully raised funds by collaborating
with various startup’s by giving them growth strategies and insights. I was also the part of the annual event
organising team named ‘Concresence ’22 ’. Through these opportunities I was able to learn more about
leadership skills, networking & negotiation skills.

Driven by a passion for learning and a desire to further my expertise in management, pursuing an MBA has
become my unequivocal goal. Building upon my foundation in B.Com, an MBA will provide the comprehensive
knowledge and leadership skills necessary to navigate the dynamic business landscape.I hope to improve my
analytical and decision making skills through an MBA, as these are essential for a successful career. I will be
able to bridge the gap between my theoretical and practical knowledge. The idea of interacting with peers,
alumni and business leaders will help me in developing the most important skill for a true manager i.e the
management of people. An MBA will provide me the required exposure to real business problems through case
studies, projects, interaction with industry leaders and studying with a diverse group
Give reasons for a discontinuity in your academic career or in achieving your professional
qualifications, if any.

Through campus placements I was placed at Ernst and young, global developing services as an audit
associate however I left the job 1 month prior to CAT as i wanted to prepare for CAT and give my best
shot. My role involved inspecting the books of accounts of various off shore clients. Identified risks
and errors through the evidence provided by the clients. I performed revenue and asset testing and
reported to the senior audit associate. During my four months there, I came to two realizations.
Firstly, I wanted to explore other interests because I wasn't thrilled with auditing and accounting.
Second, I needed to get an MBA in order to advance and become a leader because my current
position would require several years of my developing career before I could advance to a managing
position.
