1 Calculate the average energy of an oscillator of frequency 0.6 x 10"s'at 1800 Ktreating it as
(i) Classical oscillator (i) Planck's oscillator. Repeat the calculation for frequency 1.5 x 10s'. Analyze your answer.

Photons of wavelength 1.0 ¢are scattered at such an angle that the recoil electron has the maximum kinetic
