Devangi – Tribal dance is performed by tribal people based on their customs and beliefs . Tribal Dance
evolved through the experience of the aborigines .They had to fight the ferocious beasts of the jungle and
hunt animals and birds for their survival and existence . Before going out for a hunt , hunters would draw
pictures of their prey and dance in a body , imitating a hunt.
The dance you are about to see is a wonderful expression of joy.Our talented performers have
worked diligently to bring this art to life, showcasing their energy and enthusiasm.

from the heart of a quaint village nestled in the hills.
M-Each year, as the golden crops are harvested and the land’s bounty is gathered, the villagers unite
in joyous celebration. Through the vibrant rhythms of their dance, they express deep gratitude for
the earth’s generosity, honoring the bonds that tie them together in a spirited embrace of unity.
D-The story of the Cheraw dance enters around a village facing a severe drought that threatened
their harvest. Despite their worries, the elders decided to hold the festival to invoke the spirit of the
land and attract rain.
M-On the night of the celebration, illuminated by lanterns and filled with music, the villagers danced
in circles, expressing their connection to nature and shared history. A young girl named Meera
captivated everyone with her fervent dance, inspiring hope and unity among the villagers.
D-As they danced, rain began to fall, turning the event magical. From that year on,the cheru dance
became a symbol of resilience and community strength,reminding everyone of the power of joy and
togetherness in the face of adversity.
M-Wow! This legend is incredibly incredible.
