COMPUTER PROJECT

1. HOW TO BOLD THE TEXT:


Step 1: Open your Microsoft Word document.
Step 2: Highlight the text you want to make bold by clicking
and dragging your cursor over it.
Step 3: Press Ctrl + B on your keyboard. Alternatively, click
the Bold (B) button in the toolbar at the top.
Step 4: The selected text will now appear bold.

Eg: This text is in bold format.

2. HOW TO C ONVERT TEXT TO ITALICS:

Step 1: Open your Microsoft Word document.


Step 2: Highlight the text you want to italicize by clicking and
dragging your cursor over it.
Step 3: Press Ctrl + I on your keyboard. Alternatively, click
the Italic (I) button in the toolbar at the top.
Step 4: The selected text will now appear italicized.

Eg: This text is in the italic format.


3. HOW TO ADD STRIKE THROUGH TO THE TEXT:

Step 1: Open your Microsoft Word document.


Step 2: Highlight the text you want to apply strikethrough by
clicking and dragging your cursor over it.
Step 3: Click the Strikethrough (abc) button in the toolbar.
Alternatively, use the shortcut Ctrl + D to open the Font
dialog box, then select Strikethrough and press OK.
Step 4: The selected text will now have a line through it.

Eg: This text is in strike through format

4. HOW TO UNDERLINE THE TEXT:

Step 1: Open your Microsoft Word document.


Step 2: Highlight the text you want to underline by clicking
and dragging your cursor over it.
Step 3: Press Ctrl + U on your keyboard. Alternatively, click
the Underline (U) button in the toolbar under the Home tab.
Step 4: The selected text will now appear underlined.

Eg: This text is underlined.

5. HOW TO INSERT PICTURE:


Step 1: Place your cursor where you want to insert the
picture.
Step 2: Go to the Insert tab on the ribbon at the top of the
screen.
Step 3: Click on the Pictures option in the toolbar.
 Choose This Device to insert a picture saved on your
computer.
 Choose Online Pictures to search for images online.
Step 4: Select the desired picture and click Insert.
Step 5: Adjust the size and position of the picture as needed
by clicking and dragging it or using the picture formatting
tools.

6. HOW TO INSERT A TABLE:


Step 1: Place your cursor where you want the table to
appear in your document.
Step 2: Go to the Insert tab on the ribbon at the top of the
screen.
Step 3: Click on the Table option. A grid will appear.
Step 4: Select the number of rows and columns you want by
hovering your cursor over the grid.
Step 5: The table will be inserted into your document.

For example, to insert a 3x3 table, hover over 3 columns and 3


rows, then click.
