pupils know the names of the seasons. Ask pupils to write the name of a season on
each one. Pupils then brainstorm vocabulary and ideas for each of the different
seasons. They write one word/phrase/idea on the paper and then pass it to their

1 Play a team board game to review spelling of days of the week. Divide the class
into five groups. One pupil from each group at a time should come to the board.
Say a day of the week and the pupils at the board should arrange the magnetic
