Subject: Tentative Seniority list of Junior Engineers (Electri~I)

Degree/Diploma Holders appointed under the Hon'ble Pnme
Minister's Special Package for Kashmiri Migrants -objections
thereof.

NOTIFICATION
Whereas, various Junior Engineers (Electrical) -Degree/
Diploma holders have been appointed in the Power Development
Department from time to time since 2010, under SRO-412 of 2009, dated
30-12-2009 read with SO 425 of 2017 on the recommendations of the
Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board through the Department of
Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction, for
rehabilitation of Kashmiri Migrants; and

Whereas, the Department of Disaster Management, Relief,

Rehabilitation and Reconstruction vide communication No.
DMRRR-Adm/58/2022 dated 14-06-2022 has advised all the Departments
to frame separate seniority list(s) of the candidates appointed under
Hon'ble PM Package; and

Whereas, it is incumbent upon the Cadre Controlling Authority

to notify the category-wise seniority list(s) for better cadre management of
the services controlled by it;· and

Whereas, the Junior Engineers appointed under Hon'ble PM

Package since the year 2010 upto 2015 have already been incorporated in
the seniority list of Junior Engineers -Degree/Diploma holders respectively
issued vide Government Order No. 255 -PDD of 2018 dated 31.12.2018,
but the Junior Engineers appointed after the year 2015 have not been
incorporated in any seniority list as the same has not been issued as
revised thereafter; and

Whereas, all the Junior Engineers appointed under Hon'ble

Prime Minister's Special Package for Kashmiri Migrants have been
segregated from the existing seniority lists and a separate Tentative
seniority is required to be issued in pursuant to the directions of the
Government; and

Whereas, the tentative seniority list of Junior Engineers

appointed under the Hon'ble Prime Minister's Special Package for Kashmiri
Migrants have been prepared and Is required to be issued;
 . Whereas, in case there is any variation noticed in the Name
Date of B1rth(s) ?f any Junior Engineer or if Category status is required t~
be reflected against any name in the list so prepared, the same should be
bro~ght to the notice of the Department alongwith the requisite
cert1ficate(s) for necessary rectifications;
Now, therefore, consequent upon the above, the tentative
seniority list of Junior Engineers (Electrical) -Degree/Diploma Holders
appointed under the Hon'ble Prime Minister's Special Package for
Kashmiri Migrants in the Power Development Department forming
Annexure -A and Annexure -B to this Notification is circulated amongst
all the concerned members of the service for their information and for
inviting objections, if any, against the position allotted to them in the
seniority list, which should reach alongwith the supporting documents in
support of the objection/claim directly to the Power Development
Department (HRM Branch, Room No. 2/17 -Mini Block, Civil Secretariat,
Jammu) by or before 1st of July, 2022 from the date of issuance of this
Notification, failing which it shall be construed that no body has any
objection to the assigned position(s) in the seniority list and shall be
finalized accordingly.
