Responsible for datacenter administration and LAN WAN administration.

Worked as a consultant with VJIT Software Solutions for 3 years. Work


involved is to prepare a total bill of material of the project. Take the quotation from
parties for procurement of IT Equipments and Software’s, conduct negotiations.
Installation of the same at the client’s site and establishing connectivity.
Was running a partnership firm from 1994 to 2002.We were a team of 9
involved in giving customised solutions. The work involved was procurement in IT
equipments, Installation and Configuration of the same.. Also we were taking FMS
contracts of various corporates.
Worked for Prime Micro Systems for 2 years from 1992 to 1994

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 To manage a technical team to accomplish a target based project.


 Installation of network OS and Client OS establishing connectivity of databases.
 Understanding the user’s requirements and fine tuning the software’s and
network.

bottlenecks in the network with minimum investment.

PROJECTS COMPLETED

 Revamped the complete LAN infrastructure of SISL implementing all Manageable


switches. Reconfiguring and tuning the Passport 8600 for maximum throughput and
business continuity.
 Implemented a major IT infrastructure up gradation in a petrochemical firm for SAP
implementation. Project involved up gradation of all hubs to switches changing over
all media converters to fiber module switches installation of routers, cat5,cat6 and
fiber laying and establishing connectivity. Headed a team of 15 associates to
implement the project.
 Implemented fiber network in a Petrochemical plant. The project involved Network
design, approval and laying of 6 core multimode fiber fo a distance of 600m.The
project was completed successfully. Logical isolation of networks by creating VLANS
and subnetting
 Headed many projects in installation of local area network, installation of network
Operating System like Microsoft Windows NT Server 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows
2003, database software, client side connectivity with the database server, installation

of WAN components and establishing of WAN link. Interacting with the WAN service
provider for connectivity.
 Designed and implemented complete CAT6 structured cabling layout for collocation
of a Data Centre at Mumbai.
 Designed and implemented structured cabling layout for capital markets institute at
Navi Mumbai. Also installed the network OS and established client side connectivity
for the same site.

 Facility management for corporates .Engineers are deputed at each site. Work
involved is getting the hardware related issues solved from the respective engineers,
maintaining call status register and updating it from time to time, maintaining a
register for material movement, maintaining a database of IT assets of the company.

Reason for leaving current occupation:

 Wish to learn more in the technical side and work in


professional company for better career advancement opportunities and
exposure
