Admission Procedure 1) Applicants have to access the website (pgadmission.mist.ac.bd) and sign up using their phone number and enter their personal information, previous academic qualifications, employment status and department and program selection. 2) After that, applicants will be able to generate a completed application form, which they have to print out and submit to the MIST admission office. 3) An application fee of BDT 1,000 must be paid during submission of the application form (waived for international applicants). 4) Eligible applicants will be able to download and print admit card from the pgadmission website, which they must bring during the written examination.

Scholarships for Potential Full-Time Students Potential full-time M.Sc.Engg. / M.Engg. candidates may be given BDT 25,000 per month for 18 months and potential full-time Ph.D. candidates may be given BDT 50,000 per month for 36 months as scholarship [T&C apply].
Qualifications to Apply For admission to the programs leading to M.Sc.Engg. / M.Engg. degree: 1) A candidate must have a minimum GPA of 4.00 out of 5.00 or a first division or equivalent in S.S.C. and H.S.C. or in equivalent examinations. 2) A candidate must have at least 55% marks or a minimum GPA of 2.75 out of 4.00 or its equivalent in B.Sc.Engg. 3) For admission to the programs leading to the degree of M.Sc.Engg. / M.Engg. in CE, CSE, EECE, ME, AE, NAME in any discipline an applicant must have a B.Sc.Engg. Degree in the relevant discipline or an equivalent degree from any UGC recognized institution. 4) For admission to the programs leading to the degree of M.Sc.Engg. / M.Engg. in NSE, an applicant must have a B.Sc.Engg. Degree in Nuclear Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material and Metallurgical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Applied Physics and other fields related to Nuclear Science and Engineering or an equivalent degree from any UGC recognized institution. 5) For admission to the programs leading to the degree of M.Sc.Engg. / M.Engg. in BME, an applicant must have a B.Sc.Engg. in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering, MBBS, Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Nuclear Science Engineering, Material Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Chemical Engineering or an equivalent degree from any UGC recognized institution.
For admission to the programs leading to Ph.D. degree:
1) A candidate must have a minimum GPA of 4.00 out of 5.00 or a first division or equivalent in of S.S.C. and H.S.C. or in equivalent examinations. 2) Must have at least 60% marks or a minimum GPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 or its equivalent in B.Sc.Engg. or equivalent degree in the relevant field from a recognized University/Institute. The duration of B.Sc.Engg. or equivalent degree program should be of minimum four (04) years. 3) Should have at least 60% marks or a minimum GPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 in M.Sc.Engg. or equivalent degree in the relevant field from a recognized University / Institute.
