What is Beamer?

BEAMER:
BEAMER is a LATEXclass for creating presentations that are held using a projector, but it can
be used to create transparency slides.

A BEAMERpresentation is created like any other LATEXdocument:


It has a preamble and a body,
the body contains \section and \subsection,
the different slides (called frames) in BEAMERare put in environments,
they are structured using itemize and enumerate environments and so on
