READ THIS FIRST!

HI! Thank you for purchasing my “TRY TO RELAX” Coloring Book.

These are weird times, indeed, but I have found solace the last few days in coloring
some of my own drawings, and so I thought you may like to try it out, too. :)
There are a couple different ways you can enjoy these coloring pages:

1. PRINT AT HOME AND COLOR!

You may print out the pages and color using crayons, markers, colored pencils, ketchup
packets, etc! Using any desktop printer, open the PDF file in your browser and print out
either either one page at a time, all of the pages at once. The pages are pre-set up at 8”
x 10” so they should fit on any standard size 8.5” x 11” paper.

2. COLOR DIGITALLY ON YOUR DESKTOP / LAPTOP.

If you are familiar with using Photoshop, Clip Studio, or other digital painting programs,
simply download the PDF file to your desktop and open the individual pages into your
program, and start coloring/painting. The easiest way to color the file (in photoshop), is
to set the layer with the drawing on it to “MULTIPLY” and then create new layers
beneath the drawing to color. This way the black lines will stay on the top of the
drawing.

3. COLOR DIGITALLY ON YOUR IPAD!

Color the pages on your iPad. I like to use an app called PROCREATE, so the following
steps would apply for Procreate, but the steps should be similar for other drawing / art
apps.
* Download the linked file directly to your iPad. The file should be saved into your
“FILES” app. (Alternatively, you can download it into your DROPBOX app so that you
can access it on both your iPad and your Desktop).
*Procreate doesn’t automatically open PDF files, so the next step is a little workaround.
* Simply OPEN the downloaded file “RELAXCOLORINGBOOK.pdf”, and scroll to the
page you want to color. Then, SCREENSHOT this image and EDIT > CROP > SAVE it
to your liking, and it will save it to your Photo Library.
*Now, in PROCREATE, go to your gallery, and in the upper right corner tap “PHOTO”
and then select the screenshot you just saved and it will automatically create a new file
for you to color:)
* Lastly, The easiest way to color the file in Procreate, is to set the layer with the
drawing on it to “MULTIPLY” and then create new layers BENEATH the drawing to
color. This way the black lines will stay on the top of the drawing.

Overall, I hope you enjoy some relaxing time coloring in these weird days ahead of us,
but stay safe, stay healthy, and stay positive! We are all in this together.
