3. Catalog Course Description:


Financial Accounting is concerned with the provision of financial information to the different users such as
external and internal users. The term accounting refers to the activities of collecting, recording, processing and
communicating economic events to the users of accounting information. The course covers the recording
process, adjustments, completing accounting cycle, accounting for merchandising operations and relevant
accounting techniques for accounting receivable, inventories and plant assets.

9. Course Requirements and Policies


The students are required to fully understand and observe the following policies of the university:

a. Attendance Policy
The students are required to attend and participate fully in the classes and other sessions scheduled for their
respective course(s). An absence of 25% of the course classes will result in a withdrawal/fail in the course (WF).
The students must also read and comprehend the “Attendance Policy” which is published in the Student
Handbook.
