PREFACE

Mathematics is often perceived as a dry and boring

subject, reserved only for those who have a natural
affinity for numbers. However, as I discovered in my
own journey with mathematics, there is so much more
to this subject than just calculations and formulas.

In this book, I aim to share my passion for math by

exploring the fun and intriguing world of math magic
tricks and puzzles. These are not your typical math
problems that require hours of calculating and solving
equations. Rather, these are clever and entertaining
tricks and puzzles that will leave you scratching your
head and wondering how they work.

Whether you are a math enthusiast or someone who is

intimidated by the subject, this book is for you. The
math magic tricks and puzzles presented here are
designed to be accessible to anyone with a basic
understanding of mathematics. Each trick is explained
step by step, with clear and concise instructions on how
to perform them, as well as the mathematical
reasoning behind them.

Throughout the book, you will encounter a diverse

range of topics, including algebra, geometry,
probability, and more. From mind-boggling number
tricks to perplexing geometric puzzles, there is
something here for everyone.
Math Magics And Puzzles 3

I hope that this book will inspire you to see

mathematics in a new light, and that you will have as
much fun reading it as I did writing it. So sit back, relax,
and prepare to be amazed by the world of math magic

Subtract 4. Divide the result by 2. Finally, subtract the
original number. Your answer will always be 3.

Magic-2:
Pick a three-digit number where the first and last digits
differ by at least 2. Reverse the digits and subtract the
smaller number from the larger one. Keep repeating
this process until you get a result of 1089. This will
work for any three-digit number that meets the initial
condition.

Think of a number. Multiply it by 3. Add 6. Divide the
result by 3. Subtract the original number. Your answer
will always be 2.
