Caranzol; Dudhsagar; Sonalium; It is not feasible to provide Catch Sidings. Presently in the Single
Line section the Trains are run strictly following Ghat working Rules, as per directives of the
UBL Commissioner of Railway Safety. Doubling of the section is sanctioned but held up due to
Forest/Environmental issues

(4) 19.11.2024, requested that Caranzol, Dudhsagar and Sonalium stations may be dropped/ removed
from the list of stations with defective layouts of South Western Railway.
