Report on “Windows 11 Operating System.”

1. Rationale:-
The project helps us to understand concepts of the Operating system of
Microsoft windows 11. Support Emerging Technologies: Embrace advancements
in AI, machine learning, and cloud computing. Future-Proof Windows: Prepare
for emerging trends, such as hybrid work and remote collaboration.

2. Aims and benefits:-

➢ Aim: -The aim of microproject is understanding the concept and features
of Microsoft's Windows 11 Operating System.

➢ Benefits: -
1. Free upgrade for eligible Windows 10 devices
2. Regular feature updates and security patches
3. Integrated customer support and feedback tools
4. Seamless integration with Microsoft services (e.g., Office, Outlook)
5. Compatibility with a vast library of software applications

3. Course outcomes:-

4.0 Literature Review:
Windows 11 has a slick new look, useful new tools, updated default apps, extra
capabilities, and performance advances. With Copilot, it's the first desktop operating
system to have built-in generative and assistive AI. It surpasses both ChromeOS and
macOS on that front and goes further than either on mobile connection features. For
dedicated Microsoft users, Windows 11 retains most of the vast feature set of
Windows 10. Along with Apple's excellent macOS Sequoia, Windows 11 earns our
Editors' Choice award for desktop operating systems.
PC hardware is nice, but it’s not much use without innovative software. I’ve been
reviewing software for PCMag since 2008, and I still get a kick out of seeing what's
new in video and photo editing software, and how operating systems change over
time. I was privileged to byline the cover story of the last print issue of PC Magazine,
the Windows 7 review, and I’ve witnessed every Microsoft win and misstep up to the
latest Windows 11.

❖ Introduction: -
Windows 11 is the latest operating system from Microsoft, officially released
on October 5, 2021.
It features a revamped user interface designed to enhance user productivity
and aesthetics.
Windows 11 is built to support both traditional PCs and modern devices,
including tablets and 2-in-1s.

➢ Key Features of Windows 11

• Windows 11 introduces a centered Start menu and taskbar, providing a
fresh look for users.
• Snap Layouts and Snap Groups enhance multitasking by allowing users
to organize multiple windows more efficiently.
• Virtual Desktops allow users to create separate workspaces for
different purposes, improving organization.
➢ Gaming Enhancements:-

• Windows 11 includes DirectStorage, which allows games to load

faster by bypassing CPU processing.
• Auto HDR enhances visual quality in games, providing a more
vibrant and immersive experience.
• The Xbox Game Pass integration brings a vast library of games
directly to the Windows 11 interface.
• Faster load times: Improved storage and file system optimizations.
• Reduced latency: Enhanced graphics and input processing.
• Better multitasking: Smooth gaming experience while running
multiple apps.
• Dynamic Refresh Rate: Adjusts refresh rate to match game's frame
rate.

The new user interface features rounded corners and a softer visual design,
making it more modern.
Widgets provide personalized news, weather, and calendar updates, enhancing
the user experience.

passwordless sign-ins.
