Important Instructions:
1. Check the Admit Card carefully and bring discrepancies, if any, to the notice of the APPSC immediately.
2. Admit Card must be preserved till the declaration of the final results of Examination.
3. Your candidature has been accepted provisionally and it will be subject to production of original certificate at
the time of interview/viva-voce.
4. In the event of information being found false or incorrect, during or after this Examination, your candidature
can be cancelled at any stage of Examination process.
5. Entry for candidates into the examination venue will be open from 07:00 AM for forenoon session and 11:30
AM for afternoon session. The entry shall close 15 minutes prior to the scheduled commencement of the
Examination i.e. 08:45 AM (Forenoon Session) and 12:45 PM (Afternoon Session). Therefore, the
candidates are advised to reach the examination centre well in advance considering the time taken for frisking
and biometric enrolment.
6. Biometric enrolment and frisking are mandatory for all the candidates. Candidates should ensure that both
frisking and biometric enrolment is done before entry in the examination hall/room.
7. Mobile phone, bluetooth devices, electronic gadgets, wrist watch, pen and any other objectionable
article will not be allowed in the Examination Hall/Room. The commission will not be responsible for any
loss in this regard. Resorting to any type of unfair means/impersonation etc. in the Examination Hall/Room
may result in cancellation of candidature and necessary action by the Commission as per the rules.
8. The candidate will not be allowed to leave the Examination Hall/Room or take away question paper till
completion of examination time.
9. A candidate who is absent in any of the subject shall NOT be allowed to sit for the subsequent
papers/subject.
10. The Commission reserves the right to amend, revise, and reissue these instructions at any time during the
examination process.

Instructions For Candidates:-
1. Candidate must note that his/her admission to the examination is purely provisional and if his/her ineligibility
is detected at any stage he/she will not be allowed to take examination or called for interview/viva-voce or
recommended for appointment even if he/she appeared at the examination/interview. Further, the
recommendation of the Commission for appointment is also provisional, subject to verification of the
documents etc. by the Indenting/Requisitioning Department.
2. The candidate should not take any objectionable articles inside the examination hall/room.
3. The candidates should carefully read and follow the instructions on the cover of his/her question
booklet/OMR response sheet.
4. The candidate must not write his/her name or anything else on OMR Response Sheet except the specific
information asked for. If he/she does so, then necessary action as deemed fit will be taken against the
candidate.
5. A bell will ring at the beginning of the examination and at every 1(one) hour during the examination. A
warning bell will also be given 5(five) minutes before the closing time. The candidates must not continue to
mark or revise his/her answer after the expiry of the allotted time. Necessary action will be taken against a
candidate who is found to be doing so.
6. The Centre Superintendent of the examination will be the time keeper and his/her decision in this regard is
final.
7. Smoking or eating etc. inside the Examination Hall/Room is strictly prohibited.
8. Loaning or interchanging of any other article including question and answer papers is strictly prohibited in
the Examination Hall/Room.
9. Candidates intending to go to the bathroom should take permission from the Invigilator. While going to the
bathroom the candidate should put his/her OMR Response Sheet upside down on the desk. He/she must not
carry any examination material, e.g. Question booklet, OMR Response Sheet with him to the bathroom. An
entry should also be made with the invigilators in `Annexure-O` on leaving and re-entering the exam room.
10. No candidate will be allowed to go to the bathroom during the last 30 minutes of the examination in each
session.
11. There should not be any writing on the admit card. Violation of this will be treated as cheating.
12. Candidate should come to examination venue well in advance keeping sufficient time for frisking &
capturing of biometric details at the gate of Examination Centre which is mandatory.
13. Candidate will not be allowed to leave examination hall until expiry of the full allotted time for the paper.
14. Candidates are allowed to take with them the Question Paper and the carbon copy of their OMR Response
Sheet at the end of the examination and after the collection of their original OMR Response Sheet by the
Invigilator. No candidate shall leave the examination hall/room without due permission from the invigilator.
