SAP Integration with SuccessFactors

Through CPI: A Step-by-Step


Handbook for Seamless Connectivity
Introduction:

Focuses on integrating SAP ERP with SuccessFactors through CPI, particularly


addressing the configurable or standard Integration-Flow. Whether setting up initial
connectivity with SAP or updating connectivity to a new SAP server, the steps
outlined in this blog remain consistent across different SAP landscapes.

Will cover building the two-way communication channels:

• SAP ERP to CPI Suite


• CPI Suite to SAP ERP

Step :1 – Navigate to the CPI Suite and Copy the Name of the Integration Flow (I-
Flow).

For Example: “Replicate Employee Master Data and Org. Assignments from SAP
SuccessFactors Employee Central to SAP ERP or SAP S4HANA”

Step:2 – For all configurable Integration Flows (I-Flows), you can access the
technical integration settings guide on the SAP Help Portal. Simply search on Google
using the keyword "I-FlowName.pdf" to locate the relevant documentation.

steps provided in the guide accordingly.

1st Procedure - SAP ERP Communication to CPI:

Tips: Search for "SOAMANAGER" or "SM59" within the PDF guide to find the relevant
web service definitions.

Step:3- Configure the URL in I-Flow Receivers


Step:4- Paste the URL into the Address section of the relevant Receiver.

2nd Procedure - SAP ERP Communication to CPI:

Tips: Look up "SOAMANAGER" or "SM59" in the PDF guide to find the relevant
procedures.
Step:1 – Deploy the I-Flow

Step 2 - Copy the Endpoint URL or WSDL from Manage integration Content
Step 3 – Proceed to SOAMANAGER and Enter CPI SID in Username and Password

Then, navigate to the Transport Settings tab and enter the CPI Endpoint WSDL/URL.
