Lights Camera Toontassy
Lights Camera Toontassy
THE MAIN IDEA - The event coordinators want to conduct and organize an inter-section talent show for the
students of 6 and 7 grades, focusing on motivating students after a long and tiring summative cycle…
BACKGROUND TO OUR IDEA - A challenging subject or a poor grade during summative can occasionally
be demotivating for students, especially for students of grades 6 and 7, and we as the event coordinators want to
bring in new opportunities to our school which students will be looking forward to just like the others…
PURPOSE - Our intention with this event is to boost their self-esteem and demonstrate to them that they have
hidden skills.
THEME:
Lights toontasy action
PARTICIPANTS - 4 or more people will be selected from each section from grades 6 and 7. We will contact
the teachers of each class, and ask them who the most introverted and talented kids are. Then we can have each
of the kids participate in an event, and for dance, they can make a group with their friends.
PROCESS - The nominations will come from the section's teachers. We intend to offer 4 subjects, all of which
are art, music, dance, and poetry.
To boost everyone's spirits, we're considering hosting it prior to or around the third summative cycle. To get
everyone's attention, we'll use prizes, and we'll also offer rewards for involvement. We do have the intention of
working with both the CR’s and TA’s for the event.
It will be an intersection and classes will get points for each participant and victory. The winning class will get a
box of chocolates.
WHEN - Undecided
PRIZES- For the prizes, we will give 1 prize per topic. It will be a chips packet or chocolate, the winner can
choose + certificates
JUDGES- We event coordinators will be the judges and whoever is the most talented in the subject will be the
judge for the event. We will do grading out of 8, and base our rubrics on our summative grades. We will also ask
the specific teachers for the subject to judge along with us.
