MULTIMEDIA LESSON PLAN

Date – 23 August 2024 Class- 8th

Subject- Science (Chemistry) Period - III
Topic- Combustion and It’s Types Duration- 40 Minutes

GENERAL OBJECTIVES:- General Objectives of teaching of Science:-

 to provide the broader objectives of science that is process skill
knowledge curiosity etc.
 to encourage and enable students to develop inquiring minds and
curiosity about science and nature.
 to acquire knowledge, conceptual understanding, and skills to solve
problems and make informed decisions in scientific contexts.
 to develop skills of scientific inquiry to design and carry out scientific
investigations and evaluate scientific evidence to draw conclusions.
 to communicate scientific ideas, arguments, and practical experiences
accurately in a variety of ways.
 to think analytically, critically and creatively to solve problems, judge
arguments and make decisions in scientific and other contexts.
 to appreciate the benefits and limitations of science and its application in
technological developments.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:- After the completion of the topic the

students will be able to:-
Cognitive Domain:-
Remembering: Students will be able to list the essential elements required for
combustion, including fuel, oxygen, and an ignition source.
Understanding : Students will be able to explain the differences between
complete and incomplete combustion, including the by-products of each.
Applying : Students will be able to calculate the amount of oxygen required for
the complete combustion of a specific quantity of fuel.
Affective Domain:-
Students will be able to express a concern for environmental impacts related to
incomplete combustion, such as pollution and greenhouse gas emissions.
Psychomotor Domain:-
Students will be able to perform an experiment to differentiate between
complete and incomplete combustion, accurately recording observations.
Multimedia used: PowerPoint Presentation, Online Video resources, GIF images,
Online Quiz(quiz.com).
