Title of Micro Project- Solve the simultaneous system of equation in two variables by matrix
Inversion method write down a mathematical programming using any open source software
to verify result.
Brief Introduction: This project involves solving a system of linear equations with two
variables using the Matrix Inversion Method. By calculating , where is the coefficient matrix
and is the constants vector, the solution is obtained. The project will include writing a
program using open-source software like Python with NumPy to implement this method and
verify the results.
Aim of the Micro-Project: The aim of this project is to solve a system of linear equations
using the Matrix Inversion Method and verify the results through programming in an
open-source software like Python.
Action Plan: (Sequence and the time required for major activities)
Title of Micro Project- Solve the simultaneous system of equation in two variables by matrix
Inversion method write down a mathematical programming using any open source software
to verify result.
Brief Description: The importance of this project lies in its ability to demonstrate the
practical application of linear algebra, specifically the Matrix Inversion Method, to solve
systems of simultaneous equations. This method is widely used in fields such as engineering,
computer science, economics, and physics, as many real-world problems can be modeled
using systems of linear equations. By implementing this method through programming, the
project not only reinforces understanding of matrix operations but also emphasizes the
power of computational tools in solving complex mathematical problems efficiently.
Aim of the Micro-Project: The aim of this project is to solve a system of simultaneous linear
equations with two variables using the Matrix Inversion Method. The project seeks to
demonstrate the application of matrix operations, specifically matrix inversion, in finding
solutions to linear systems. It also aims to implement and verify this method using
open-source software like Python, enhancing both mathematical understanding and
programming skills.
Study the Matrix Inversion Method and how it can be used to solve systems of linear
equations. Review the formula , where is the coefficient matrix, is the variables vector,
and is the constants vector.
Choose or define a system of simultaneous linear equations with two variables. Represent
the system in matrix form , where is a 2x2 matrix of coefficients, is the vector of
variables, and is the vector of constants.
3. Matrix Inversion:
Calculate the inverse of the coefficient matrix , using the formula , where det(A) is the
determinant of , and adj(A) is the adjugate matrix of .
Input test systems of linear equations into the program and compute the solutions. Verify
the correctness of the solution by manually solving the system or using alternative
methods, such as substitution or elimination.
