Objective:
• To connect the theory to practice and to learn the relevance
• To consolidate the learning and to broaden the purview of the concepts studied
in the class.
• To promote skills for self-study and reference to literature.
• To develop the documentation, teamwork and interpersonal skills
Problem Statement:
A. Look around in independent India, search in the Indian History (pre-colonial period)
and Heritage for a success story driven by an idea that matches any one or more
of the seven strategies we have studied in this semester in the course “Creativity,
Problem Solving & Innovation”.
(Please note that the idea or topic you choose should be solving an age-old problem
or a creative idea / an innovation with a significant impact on the community,
society, or the nation in terms of product, process, technology, or service).

Task / Process:
▪ This is a group task and the scope is limited to a task requiring about 10 Hours of
quality work per student. Choose your problem / topic accordingly.
▪ Form your own groups with a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 6 members per
group. You are free to choose your team members.
▪ Communicate the details of the team and team leader with contact details to your
respective faculty team.
▪ Study your selected topic or problem as described in A and B above (any ONE of
the two), prepare a detailed report and submit it with supporting reference (limited
to 3-5 pages) along with presentation slides using PPT.
▪ Upload the assignment solution using the MS form sent to you for the purpose.
1. Paper Size: A4
4. Use Times New Roman 12 pts. Black colour with 1.5 line spacing for body text
5. Use 14 pts. bold capitals for the title / heading, Section Headings (12 pts. and
bold), Special Text (Italics).
6. Use 1.5 spacing between the lines. Use double spacing between paragraphs, and
use justified formatting.
