Steps to create Bench Vice Assembly

1. Form a claw seat and a movable claw.

2. Put the claw seat and the movable claw with the other vise
components, such as a guide element, a screw guide spindle, and
a nut.
3. Insert the other parts of the vise, including a vise jaw, spindle
shaft, and bolts to mount the vise.
4. Attach the shaft to the base using a cylindrical mate.
5. Create the holes for the bolts to go through.
6. Turn the board over and mark out the top of the bolts.
7. Chisel out so the ball is sits under the surface.
8. Tighten it up on the bolt.
Steps to create Double Bearing Assembly
1. Open SOLIDWORKS and create a new part file.
2. Draw the bushing.
3. Extrude the bushing.
4. Draw the bolt.
5. Extrude the bolt.
6. Assemble the bushing and bolt.
7. Create an exploded view of the double bearing assembly.
8. Create top and front views of the bushing and bolt.
Steps to create a Pulley Support Assembly
❖ Create the components of the assembly.
❖ Assemble the components.
❖ Create an exploded view of the assembly.
❖ Include dimensions to fully define each part.
❖ Create 2 orthographic views for each part.
❖ Generate an orthographic full section view for the wheel.
❖ Generate an isometric view of the bracket.
Steps to create Fixture Assembly
1. Fixture Assembly Create all the components of the Fixture
assembly and then assemble them, as shown in Figure 1. The
details of the components of the Fixture assembly are shown in
Figures 2 through 5.

3. Figure 5 Dimensions of the Spacer, Center Pin, and the Nut
4. Extuded bose/cut in it then apply mates To finalize assembly.
Step to create V-Block Assembly
1. Create all the components of the V-block assembly.
2. Divide the main body into two parts: the lower body and the
upper body.
3. Make each part separately.
4. Assemble the parts.

made of a rectangular steel or cast iron block with a 120 degree

channel rotated 45-degrees from the sides, forming a V-shaped
channel in the top.
Steps to create Pipe Vice Assembly
1. Insert the base.
2. Screw the screw rod into the base from above.
3. Insert the movable jaw from below.
4. Choose and import the rest of the components.
Steps to create Butterfly Valve Assembly

1.Sketch Components:
• Valve Body:
• Sketch the outline of the valve body using the "Sketch" feature.
• Use dimensions or relations to define the size and shape.
• Disc:
• Sketch the disc that rotates inside the valve body.
• Ensure it fits properly within the valve body.
• Stem:
• Sketch the stem that connects to the center of the disc.
• The stem is usually connected to an actuator for control.
2. Create 3D Parts:
• Extrude:
• Extrude the sketches to give thickness to the valve body, disc,
and stem.
• Use the "Extrude" feature and specify the thickness.
3. Insert Parts into Assembly:
• Open Assembly:
• Start a new assembly in SolidWorks.
• Insert Components:
• Use the "Insert Components" tool to add the valve body, disc,
and stem to the
assembly.
4. Apply Mates:
• Coincident Mates:
• Use "Coincident" mates to align the valve body, disc, and stem
properly.
• Concentric Mates:
• Apply "Concentric" mates to align the center of rotation for the
disc and stem with the
valve body.
5. Add Motion:
• Create a Mechanism (if needed):
• If the butterfly valve is actuated, simulate the motion using
mates.
• Connect the stem to an actuator and define the range of motion.
6. Finalize Assembly:
• Add Fasteners:
• If applicable, add bolts or nuts to secure the valve components.
• Apply Appearances:
• Apply materials and appearances to give a realistic look to the
components.
7. Generate Drawings:
• Create 2D Drawings:
• Generate 2D drawings for each part and assembly.
• Include dimensions, annotations, and other necessary details.
8. Review and Save:
• Check for Interference:
• Use the "Interference Detection" tool to ensure there are no
clashes between
components.
• Save the Assembly:
• Save your assembly, parts, and drawings.
Steps to create Press Tool Assemble

➢ Sketch component:
i) Top plate: Sketch the outline of the top plate body using the
“Sketch” feature and dimensioning it or relations it for shape or
size.
ii) Bottom plate: Sketch same as top plate.
iii) Bush: Sketch the outline of bush body.
iv) Pillar: Sketch the outline of piller body also and dimension it.

➢ Create 3D parts:
Extrude it all parts for thickness.

➢ Insert Parts into Assembly:

Open new assembly in cad software and insert components in it.
➢ Apply mates in part to make assembly.
➢ Finalize assembly in it.
➢ Review and save it for future refrence.
