Ans: The two things that we can do by inking in PowerPoint are:
a. Highlighting Text.
 On the pens tab, in the Write group, select the highlighter
tool.
 Choose the highlighter.
 Drag the mouse over the desired text to highlight it.

b. Creating a Drawing.
 On the pens tab, in the write group, select pen tool
 Choose a pen with color and thickness of your choice
and draw a shape or an object.
 To convert the drawn shape into geometric shape,
select the convert to shapes in Ink Art group. Only
drawings that look close to common geometric shapes
are converted into shapes.
2. What is the use of Photo Album.

Ans: The Photo Album feature in PowerPoint is a quick and


easy way to create a slideshow of pictures. It lets you add
multiple photos at once, automatically arranging them into
slides. You can choose different layouts, add captions, and make
the photos look better with basic editing tools. It’s useful for
making presentations with lots of images, like for events,
vacations, or projects, without having to insert and format each
photo individually.

Ans: The steps to use action buttons in your presentation are:
a. Open PowerPoint.
b. On the Insert tab, in the illustrations group, click shapes, The
shape menu opens. The action button category is at the end of
the menu.
c. Select the shape. The mouse pointer changes to a +shape.
Drag the mouse and then release the mouse, The action button
gets inserted and the Action Settings dialog box appears.
d. In action settings dialog box, Mouse Click and Mouse Over
tabs appear. Click Mouse click tab.
e. Select the down arrow of hyperlink, to which you want to
link.
 To link to the next slide in the presentation click next slide.
 To link to the previous slide in the presentation, click
previous slide.
 To link an external file, click the other file option.
 If you want sound to be played, click on play sound
checkbox select the sound then click ok.
f. View the run slide and click the action button. The action
is performed. If you have linked a slide, slide appears. If a
sound file is linked, the sound plays.

4. How is Smart Lookup feature useful? Write the steps to


use it.
Ans: The Smart Lookup feature helps in searching
information for selected word or phrase on the Internet with
the help of the search engine names Bing. The importance
of this feature is that we do not need to open the web
Browser every time to find a word, its definition, a phrase
or meaning.
The steps to use Smart Lookup are:
a. Select the word or a phrase that has to be searched.
b. On the review tab, in Insights group, select Smart
Lookup option.
c. On the right side of the window, the Smart Lookup pane
appears, In the pane the results of selected word or phrase
from different online resource are displayed.
There two tabs on the pane are Explore and Define.
 Explore tab gives the information related to selected
word from different online sources.
 Define tab gives the definition and pronunciation of
selected word from Oxford Dictionary.

5. Mention three uses of converting a presentation into a


video?
Ans: The uses of converting presentation into a video are:
a. The presentation will be seen by the audience in the way
exactly as we intended it to be seen, where there are chances
of some slides getting stuck, deleted or interruptions might
happen.
b. Somebody who does not have PowerPoint can also view the
presentation.
c. The video can be shared on platforms such as YouTube so
that the presentation reaches a wider audience.

6. Write any three tips to deliver a good presentation.


Ans: The tips to deliver a good presentation are:
a. Keep the presentation simple and focus on the main
message that needs to be conveyed.
b. Ensure that the content on the slides is clear and readable.
c. Use pictures or graphics on the slides. Do not fill the slides
with too much text.
