Problem Statement Title - Indian Version of Nagish App

Problem Statement:

In India, individuals with hearing and speech impairments face significant

communication barriers. Existing communication tools often lack comprehensive
support for Indian regional languages and dialects, making it difficult for these
individuals to communicate effectively. There is a need for a mobile application that
can provide real-time voice-to-text and text-to-voice translation specifically for Indian
regional languages. The application should be user-friendly, support multiple
languages and dialects, and offer offline functionality. It should also ensure privacy
and integrate seamlessly with other communication tools.
Solution:

1. Real-Time Voice-to-Text Translation:

 Develop an app that converts spoken words into text in real-time for various
Indian regional languages, aiding those who are deaf or hard of hearing.
2. Text-to-Voice Feature:

 Implement a feature that converts typed text into spoken words in the selected
Indian language, helping those with speech impairments to communicate
verbally.
3. Support for Multiple Languages and Dialects:

 Ensure the app supports a wide range of Indian languages and dialects,
allowing users to switch between languages easily.
4. Intuitive User Interface:

 Design a simple, accessible interface that caters to individuals with varying

levels of tech-savviness and impairments, making navigation easy.
5. Offline Functionality:

 Include offline capabilities for basic translations, ensuring the app remains
functional in areas with poor or no internet connectivity.
6. Integration with Other Communication Apps:

 Allow the app to integrate with other communication tools for seamless
translation during conversations.
7. Privacy-Focused Design:
 Ensure the app is designed with strong privacy measures, protecting user
data and avoiding unauthorized sharing.
Challenges to Address:
 Accuracy in Voice Recognition: Ensure high accuracy in recognizing and
translating diverse accents and dialects.
 Natural Text-to-Speech: Develop a text-to-speech engine that is natural and
easy to understand.
 Inclusive Interface Design: Create an interface that is easy to use for people
with various levels of technological proficiency.
 Balancing Offline Performance: Maintain app performance while providing
offline capabilities.

Problem Statement Title - Development of a Geolocation-Based

Attendance Tracking
Mobile Application.

Problem Statement: Description: A mobile application needs to be developed to

streamline and automate the attendance tracking of its employees across multiple
office locations. This application will leverage geolocation technology to record
employee check-in and check-out times along with geo-location as they enter and
leave the office premises. Aim of this App is to enhance operational efficiency,
reduce manual attendance tracking errors, and provide a seamless experience for
employees to manage their work-related movements. Key Requirements: 1)
Geolocation-Based Check-In and Check-Out: Automatically record check-in time and
geo-location when an employee enters within a 200-meter radius of his office.
Record check-out time when the employee leaves the 200-meter radius. Ensure that
each check-in is paired with a corresponding check-out, regardless of the frequency
of entries and exits. 2) Manual Location Check-In / Check-Out for Offsite Work:
Provide a manual check-in and check-out feature for employees working at locations
other than his offices. Automatically suggest relevant locations based on real-time
longitude and latitude data, allowing employees to confirm their check-in and check-
out at these suggested locations. 3) Calculate the employees total working hours. 4)
Data Accuracy and Integrity: Ensure the application maintains accurate and tamper-
proof records of all check-in and check-out events. Enable real-time data
synchronization and secure storage to prevent data loss and ensure reliability.

hardware, software, license, data or any other resource to SIH hackathon Teams.
The teams should use free and/or open-source resources, as applicable, for the
entire project.
Key Requirements:

1. Geolocation-Based Check-In/Check-Out:

o Automatically record check-in and check-out times based on the

employee's location within a 200-meter radius of the office.
2. Manual Check-In/Check-Out for Offsite Work:

o Provide manual check-in/check-out features for employees working

offsite, with location suggestions based on real-time data.
3. Calculate Total Working Hours:

o Compute the total working hours for each employee.

4. Data Accuracy and Integrity:

o Maintain accurate, tamper-proof records with real-time synchronization

and secure storage.
