Fullstack Software Engineer
Filum is a small but amazing tech startup that is building a business data platform that helps
companies making data-driven business decisions. Interestingly, Customer Data Platform (CDP) is
one of the built-in applications in our platform. Filum is headquartered in Silicon Valley with
engineering and operations teams in Vietnam.

We are looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer to join our talented teams in Ho Chi Minh City. You
will be one of the very first engineers working with the team to build Filum’s platform from the
ground up to handle a massive amount of data and turn them into insights to help businesses. You
will work with the modern tech stack and other cutting edge technology like Big Data and AI to build
the coolest data platform ever for businesses.

What we are looking for


● 2+ years of experience building product with clean, performance-centric, reusable, and
understandable code with unit tests
● Strong debugging, analytical and problem-solving skills
● Experience working with Node.Js or Python to develop backend code
● Experience working with ReactJS or Typescript based to develop frontend code
● Understanding of Web application architecture principles including REST, HTTP
caching, ...
● Understanding of database technologies including PostgresSQL and MongoDB
● Experience in ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ and Kafka is a plus
● Knowledge of architecture styles including the microservices architecture and Domain-Driven
Design
● Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic team
● Self-starter, capable of leading and owning a large aspect of the product
● BS or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics or technical related fields

● Robust, scalable, highly available, reliable, and secure backend systems with AWS and on-
premise microservices
● Data collection SDKs in JavaScript and Python
● Standardized REST APIs for public access
● CI/CD Pipelines leveraging Kubernetes orchestration with Containers (Docker)
● Universal Schema
● Hadoop/Spark based Big Data system
