challenge from those around them.
 Conscientiousness:
The conscientiousness scale evaluates a number of characteristics such as purposefulness,
organization, and commitment to goals. Miss Eman has low r conscientiousness score with a raw
C of 30 and a T of 41. According to Groth and Marnet, people with low C(C45) scores are less

WAIS-R(Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale Revised):

Using the WAIS-R IQ test, adults and other adolescents can determine their level of intellect and
cognitive capacity. It comprises of five performance tests and six verbal tests.

Scores interpretation

Verbal tests:
Verbal tests are measures of verbal memory abilities and verbal fluency. It represents the amount
and degree to which person takes benefit from her educational background. It consists of total
five tests which are as follows:

 Information:
Miss Eman received a raw score of 16, and her scaled score for the information was 8, which is
an average score. Furthermore, according to Groth and Marnet, people with high information
scores exhibit a wide variety of factual knowledge, old or prior learning, intellectual curiosity,
and tendency to have long-term memory. And in the case of older children and adults, this
factual knowledge is built on habitual, overlearned material.

 Digit span:
Miss Eman scaled score on digit span subset is 7 and raw scores are 11 which is an average
score. It means he has average ability of auditory sequencing, rote learning and have more
concentration and attention in related auditory tasks and it represents she hasn’t any impairment
in short term memory.

 Vocabulary:
The client’s scaled scores on vocabulary are 10 and raw score is 49 which is a low score.
According to Groth and Marnet's description of vocabulary, it stands for verbal learning and a
person's capacity to articulate a variety of concepts with comfort and flexibility.
Low vocabulary scores also indicate that the client is unable to communicate verbally, lack of
growth, inadequate word knowledge, and a less variety of ideas, experiences, or interests.

Arithmetic:
The arithmetic subset necessitates focused concentration, as well as fundamental mathematical
aptitude or skills and the capacity to use them in daily life.
According to the WAIS scoring Miss Eman 13 scaled and 16 raw arithmetic scores are both are
good scores. Good scores on the arithmetic verbal exam, as indicated by Groth and Marnet,
indicate that the she has good computing abilities as well as deficiencies in auditory short term
memory, sequencing ability, concentration and attention, and academic learning. It demonstrates
she has competence in abstraction, logical reasoning, and numerical issue analysis.

 Comprehension:
The comprehension subgroup assesses a person's familiarity with social norms, practical
knowledge, capacity to analyze prior experiences, social maturity. According to the WAIS-R
scoring manual, Miss Eman received an average score of 21 (raw score) and 10 (scaled score) on
the comprehension subset. Average comprehension scores, according to Groth and Marnet,
indicate that a she has average social skills, awareness of moral principles and social
conventions, a typical degree of abstract and logical thought, and a balance between the
exhibition of practical and word knowledge.

 Similarities:
The verbal concept generation, abstract reasoning, and awareness of similarities between
everyday things and events are all explained by the verbal tests' similarity subset.
Miss Eman received scores of 15(raw scores) and 8(scaled scores) on this subset, which, in
accordance with Groth and Marnet, indicates that her logical reasoning abilities, verbal concept
formation, or conceptual thinking, awareness of alertness, and ability to distinguish between
important and irrelevant details are all lower than the average.
Total verbal test scores=56

Performance tests:
Performance tests of WAIS-R consist of five subsets which are given below:
 Picture completion:
The picture completion subset evaluates visual conceptual capacity and alterability. On this
group of performance tests, the Miss eman scored very lowwith raw scores of 15 and scaled
scores of 9, respectively. According to Groth and Marnet's research, people with low picture
completion subset scores had inadequate attention to detail and concentration. Low scorers
exhibit impulsivity due to poor visual organization and the possibility that they would attempt to
respond quickly without fully considering the situation.

 Picture arrangement:
Measures for nonverbal conceptual formulation, perceptual recognition, structured arrangement,
and abstract reasoning are provided through picture arrangement. Miss Eman has average scores
of 15 (raw score) and 7 (scaled score), demonstrating average non-verbal conceptual thinking,
flexibility of thought, and logical and abstract reasoning.

 Block design:

The subset of block design comprises spatial visualisation and nonverbal problem-solving
abilities. According to the scale listed on the WAIS-R, the Miss Eman scaled score on the block
design subset is15 and raw score is 47, which is a very high score.
According to Groth and Marnet, a person with a high score in this subset demonstrates good
visual spatial perception, good visual motor speed, good sustained concentration and attention,
and good non-verbal concept creation.

 Object assembly:
The object assembly subset determines whether a person has good visual short-term memory,
sequencing aptitude, and gained or not maintained concentration. Miss Eman received scores in
this subset of 32 (raw scores) and 7, which are high. According to Groth and Marnet, people with
high scores are, attentive and have good short-term visual memory.
 Digit symbol:
Digit symbol reflects speed of visual search, information processing, planning, and visual motor
coordination. According to Groth and Marnet, Miss Eman 8 scaled scores on this subset and 94
raw score show that she has issues with visual perception, possibly low motivation, visual short-
term memory, learning ability, and the ability to encode information for further processing, all of
which affect her short- and long-term memory.

TOTAL PERFORMANCE TEST SCORES: 62

TOTAL SCALED SCORES = 62+ 56 = 118

The client’s full-scale score is 118 and the corresponding IQ is 105 .The client’s score on WAIS-
IV-TR depicts that her score falls in the average range. It depicts that she has a normal
intellectual ability and can do anything with slight effort.
BDI (BECK DEPRESSSION INVENTORY):
The Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) is a 21-items, self-report rating inventory that measures
characteristic attitudes and symptoms of depression.
Minimal depression: 0-13
Mild depression: 14-19
Moderate depression: 20-28
Severe depression: 29-63
Scores interpretation:

Miss Eman has being diagnosed with mild depression which means that at some stages of life
she developed the feelings of guilt and worthlessness but she can’t allow this to effect her daily
life. Some episodes of depression comes from time to time but they are not that strong to not
being control

BAI ( BECK ANXIETY INVENTORY):

The Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI) consists of 21 self-reported items (four-point scale) used to
assess the intensity of physical and cognitive anxiety symptoms during the past week. Scores
may range from 0 to 63: minimal anxiety levels (0–7), mild anxiety (8–15), moderate anxiety
(16–25), and severe anxiety (26–63).

SCORES INTERPRETATION:

Miss Eman has been diagnosed with moderate level of anxiety that depicts that feelings of
nervousness sometimes interfere with her daily life. She sometimes feels tired and weak. She
sometimes has doubts about herself but can process information, learn new thimgs and solve
problems.

Raven’s progressive matrices:

Raven's Progressive Matrices (often referred to simply as Raven's Matrices) or RPM is a non-
verbal test typically used to measure general human intelligence. It measures both intellectual
abilities and logical reasoning. The scores from the test are used to find percentile and then it is
compared to which grade it lies in which tells about IQ of the subject.

Scores interpretation:

Miss Eman has scored 43/60 in raven’s test that means she has a percentile range of 50%. This
means that her IQ is of 3rd grade which is an average. It means she can perform critical tasks like
numerical problems, intellectual questions with some effort.
TAT (THEMATIC APPERCEPTION TEST):

The TAT is a widely used projective test for the assessment of children and adults. It is designed
to reveal an individual's perception of interpersonal relationships. Thirty-one picture cards serve
as stimuli for stories and descriptions about relationships or social situations.
Scores interpretation:
Miss Eman is shown card 2 for 10 seconds and allotted her 4 minutes and 30 seconds to write
down a story on that picture of card. When time passed, results seem that She projects herself as
the main character of the story because in card the man was standing while in her story ,see
wrote the word of “girl “ instead of man .It indicates that unintentionally, she relates the Story
with her own self. She saw her own projection in that person .She depicts the main character of
story as more emotionally strong and realistic and ambitious to bring a change in her life. Story
indicates that, she had all the negative emotions, difficulties and problems of her life in her mind.
She overly thinks about negative things in her life .At the start of the story, she thinks that her
life will always remain same and she will die one day with these difficulties. But as the story
proceeds , her thought changes , the word “change in life” represents that she might have
conscious and considerate nature that how to deal with negative and felicitous thing from life and
fill it with happiness and lustrous things and how to learn lesson from hardships in her life. The
story predicts, that although she has excessive negative thoughts which sometimes overcome her
positivity. But she is very realistic in nature, she knows that change in life can b occurred with
efforts. She visits all those places, where she feels motivation to change her life and bring
satisfaction in her life.

Recommendation:
In the light of above tests and behavioral observation the most suitable job for Miss Eman is
online tutor.
Because her extraversion level is low as we interpret by NEO-FFI she avoids social gathering
and sort of works that involve supervision of someone so online teaching is best for her because
she is more likely to be engage in online works. As we interpret that her neuroticism level is high
means she can’t have a hold on her urges and her agreeableness is low that she wants to work
under no dictation and wants everything done according to her and therefore these things of
course can’t be seen in private or government sector jobs that’s why online teaching is preferred.
She has mild depression and moderate anxiety as according to BDI and BAI tests but these
factors can’t affect her daily life online teaching. According to WAIS and Raven scores
interpretation she has average intellectual skills and IQ level so she is more preferable tutor for
school and college students not for higher education students because for that her IQ level and
intellectual ability must be high average. From the interpretation of Test appreciation test, it
indicates that Miss Eman can easily tackle with any abrupt situation like if some student can’t
pass her class test she will teach her not to worry about her result but think positive and work
better for future results like she will not panic this situation and take her students progress in
alignment.
