ABSTRACT
Most universities in India face many educational problems and obstacles that technology can
help to overcome. An open source, such as Moodle e-learning platform, has been implemented
at many Indian universities. Moodle could be used as an aid to deliver e-content and to provide
various possibilities for implementing asynchronous e-learning web-based modules. This paper
shows that the use of interactive features of e-learning increases the motivation of the
undergraduate students for the learning process.

INTRODUCTION
Research examining the effectiveness of e-Learning has increased in recent years.
This is primarily due to the increased possibilities for IT and learning as well as
increased political and organizational attention to ‘what works’ in learning. Web-
based learning is used nowadays as another option to face to face education. As a
matter of fact, its use increases in a direct proportion with the increase of the
number of students. This has made educators exert a lot of effort to help the
learners to get interactive content that is full of multimedia as it has been proven that
it has a significant effect on the process of learning. The impact of blogs and wikis has
also been investigated on learners' collaboration and reflection and it was reported
that they both have a positive effect. E-learning has been introduced as a tool in the
learning process.
LITERATURE SURVEY
E-Learning is the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
to deliver information for education where instructors and learners are
separated by distance, time, or both in order to enhance the learner’s
learning experience and performance (Keller et al., 2007; Tarhini et al.,
2016). Horton (2011) defines e-learning as a set of instructions delivered via
all electronic media such as the internet, intranets, and extranets. Thus, by
eliminating the barriers of time and distance, individuals can now take
charge of their own lifelong learning (Almajali et al., 2016; Bouhnik and
Marcus, 2006; Fletcher 2005; Obeidat et al., 2015). E-learning environments
reduce the cost of provision and therefore increase revenues for academic
institutions .
ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES
ADVANTAGES
It promote active and independent learning.
It is a very efficient way of delivering courses online.
Due to its convenience and flexibility, the resources are available from anywhere and
at any time. .
The study material can be accessed unlimited and easily.
Different Study material are available.
∙ DISADVANTAGES
The purpose of E-learning Management System is to automate the existing manual system by
the help of computerized equipment’s and full-fledged computer software, fulfilling their
requirements, so that their valuable data/information can be stored for a longer period with easy
accessing and manipulation of the same. The required software and hardware are easily
available and easy to work with. E-learning Management System, as described above, can lead
to error free, secure, reliable and fast management system. It can assist the user to concentrate
on their other activities rather to concentrate on the record keeping. Thus it will help
organization in better utilization of resources. The organization can maintain computerized
records without redundant entries. That means that one need not be distracted by information
that is not relevant, while being able to reach the information.
PROJECT MODULES
o Registration:- In this, first the interested students get registered by selecting their
desired username and password and by providing the necessary details. Then each
user profile will be maintained which can be edited by the user when desired. Each
person will register only one time. Details of each person along with their username and
password is saved permanently in the database.
o Login:- After providing the correct username and password, the user log’s in to the
e-Learning system’s homepage. There the user can select the available subjects to
further learn about them. If user enter wrong username or password then they block
their account temporary and after some security verification they will able to access their
account.
o Homepage:- After providing the correct username and password, the user log’s in
to the e-Learning system’s homepage. Here at the homepage there are many choice for
user to learn different languages like C, C++ , Java etc. User can take following helps
A learning system based on formalised teaching but with the help of electronic
resources is known as E-learning. While teaching can be based in or out of the classrooms,
the use of computers and the Internet forms the major component of E-learning. E-learning
can also be termed as a network enabled transfer of skills and knowledge, and the
delivery of education is made to a large number of recipients at the same or
different times. In simple terms, e-learning is the act of learning or educating via digital
resources such as software programmes, mobile devices and the internet. The use of
digital platforms for learning is vividly changing our education system.
CONCLUSION
The impacts of an e-learning system on individual students for student education in India. This
indicates that the use of elearning system positively affects the individual impact. Importantly,
the findings supported a number of results reported in previous literature regarding the impact
of e-learning systems on individuals. It also helps provide basic information, which, in turn,
helps students take important decisions effectively and accurately, thus increasing the overall
productivity of the process of teaching and learning. Finally, this paper highlighted the cloud
computing model as the most useful for measuring and developing this e-learning system on
individuals.
FUTURE SCOPE
In a nutshell, it can be summarized that the future scope of the project circles around
maintaining information regarding:
We can give more advance software for E-learning Education System include more
facilities
Integrate multiple load balancers to distribute the loads of the system
Create the master and slave database structure to reduce the overload of the database
queries
Implement the backup mechanism for taking backup of codebase and database on regular
basis on different servers .
The above mentioned points are the enhancements which can be done to increase the
applicability and usage of this project. Here we can maintain the records of Assignment and
Student. Also, as it can be seen that now-a-days the players are versatile, i.e. so there is a scope
for introducing a method to maintain the E-learning Education System.
