Athletics Carnival General Information

 Come dressed in your PE shorts/tracksuit pants and your House Shirt

 Please arrive at your first station at 8:35 - this will be communicated via teams. You will need to
sit in your PCG groups for the roll to be taken before the first event starts
 Students need to remain at allocated events the entire period. Eg. If you have High Jump during
the first rotation you must remain in the gym for the whole rotation.
 Students wishing to use the toilet will need to get permission from the teacher who is
supervising the year level.
 Nominations has been taken at all events, meaning you cannot participate if you have not
nominated.
 Lunch is at the usual time. During this time the oval and courts are out of bounds. The canteen
will be open at lunch time only.
 Students are encouraged to responsibly support their House by coloring hair in “washable” hair
spray, wearing zinc or wearing House coloured accessories
 Year 12’s are the only students allowed to fully dress up for the day
 Parents are all welcome. A coffee van will be available

The Secondary House Athletics Carnival is the perfect place to demonstrate our Mercy College values
of Justice, Compassion, Service, Excellence and Dignity.

So, we would like all students to enjoy the carnival day and look forward to seeing you compete and
cheer for your house.
