    Baarish ka woh samaa ho,
    Aapke dil mai hamare liye thodi jagah ho,
    Ye waqt ruk jaye,
    In hawaon ko humpe thodi daya ho,
    Kaale woh badal,
    Geele raaste ho,
    Saaf dil bhe aur in haaton mai aapka haath ho,
    Aur kuch natkhat soch waale vichaar ho,
    Aap jhoomo us barish mai,
    Woh baarish jhoom uthe jese koi tez toofan ho,
    Ke un badalon mai,
    Us baarish mai,
    Un boondon mai,
    Us paani mai,
    Un aansuon si qeemat hai aapki,
    Aapki us ek nazar se toh asmaan bheeg jaye,
    In badalon ki utni qadar kahan thi,
    Aapki us ek muskurahat se toh din ban jaye,
    Phir hamare akelepan ki qeemat kya khaak thi.
