DESIGN AND IMPLIMENTATION OF A SECURE AND SCALABLE
CAMPUS CONNECTIVITY
ABSTRACT
This project designs and implements a secure and scalable network infrastructure for SUIIT using CCNA
principles. The proposed architecture integrates hierarchical design, VLANs, routing, switching, and
wireless connectivity to ensure high availability, security, and performance.
Workflow
1. Conduct network requirement analysis.
2. Design network architecture.
3. Configure and deploy network devices.
4. Test and troubleshoot network connectivity.
5. Document network design and configuration.
Project Goals
1. Ensure high network availability and uptime.
2. Improve network security and protect against cyber threats.
3. Enhance network performance and reduce congestion.
4. Provide seamless wireless connectivity across campus.
5. Simplify network management and troubleshooting.
Expected Outcomes
1. A secure, scalable, and efficient college network infrastructure.
2. Improved network reliability and uptime.
3. Enhanced network performance and user experience.
4. Simplified network management and maintenance.
Advantages
1. Improved Network Reliability: Scalable and redundant design ensures minimal downtime.
2. Increased Performance: Optimized network configuration and quality of service (QoS).
3.. Reduced Maintenance Costs: Streamlined network architecture and automation.
4. Improved User Experience: Reliable and fast network connectivity.
