Project is Panda, Parts Creation and Maintenance System.


The project provides complete integrated solution for various operations for purchase,
sales, parts creation, parts maintenance, finance, accounting, interfaces and reporting
for Ford parts and accessories.
Application consists of several modules for various different operations of Purchase,
Supply and Maintenance which are designed using:
1. Oracle Forms 10g for User Interface
2. Oracle Reports 10g for Reporting
3. PL/SQL procedures for database operations
Description 4. Exes written in Pro*C
5. VBScript.
VBScript, PL/SQL procedures and Exes (Pro*C) are used for the backend batch
operations. As part of Panda Team, we do code changes for the existing bugs present in
the application as well as new enhancement requirements as per the market/user’s
demand or process change.
The daily set of programs runs after online hours and generates the reports for the
business.
These programs are run with the help of Autosys where these programs have been
scheduled.

1. Resolving Critical Production issues within agreed SLA time limit.


2. Analyzing code for existing Bugs present in the programs and providing timely
solutions for them.
3. Writing and modifying SQL and PL/SQL programs (Oracle packages, procedures,
functions, triggers, views, tables, Indexes) for backend database operations.
4. Providing value added solution for process improvement and Business improvement
for Client.
Responsibilities 5. Co-coordinating with Business Owners and users to understand the business
requirements and to provide solutions based on that.
