Commissioning, readiness for operation, training of the operators (if included in the scope of the
supplier and not specified otherwise)
The commissioning starts with a cold check of the delivery scope and ends with the readiness for operation
(RFO).
RFO means that at least 75% of the specified production capacity can be reached and a profitable operation
is possible.
To ensure effective commissioning of the object, it must be tested under production conditions. For testing
of a complete plant, 500 - 1000 t asphalt (different recipes incl. special additives) have to be produced.
If this production cannot be carried out during the commissioning, the other target dates have to be
arranged and the accrued additional costs (waiting time, second arrival etc.) will be charged separately.
The training of the operators will be performed - an appropriate time - during the assembly and
commissioning which includes test runs. The future plant personnel have to be present at the complete
assembly and commissioning.
Within 4 weeks after RFO the purchaser and the supplier carry out the Hand Over of the delivery scope. If
there are any faults, they must be mentioned in a report which must be signed by both parties. Faults which
have no essential influence on a profitable use of the delivery scope are no reason to refuse the Hand Over.
If the purchaser refuses the common Hand Over within the scheduled deadline, the Hand Over is
considered to be completed and will be unilaterally confirmed by the supplier.
Any special requests in this matter, e.g. Hand Overs in the factory of the manufacturer, must be agreed
upon before placing the order.
If the assembling is not carried out by the supplier, Hand Over and transfer of use and risk take place on
delivery.
Warranty
The warranty period for the scope of delivery is 12 months from date of delivery, respectively from RFO if
assembled by the supplier. Special warranties according to specification.
Software
As far as the scope of the supplier includes software, the purchaser is only entitled to use it for the purpose
designated for the object of delivery. The right of property remains at the supplier.
Even if the scope of the supplier causes a substantial change of the existing machine/plant, the
responsibility for the conformity of the existing machine/plant with the valid laws remains with the owner of
the machine/plant.
Technical data and performance data refer only to the component described.
The supplier reserves the right of technical improvements and modifications in the frame of the specified
performance.
If the delivery item has to be designed for other geophysical data than those mentioned in the specification,
these requirements must be declared by the purchaser in written form to the supplier before placing of
order.
Should in further course the delivered item be assembled on other place, which would relate to a higher
geophysical load/force, the supplier cannot be held responsible neither for retrofits nor possible damages.
A transfer of rights is not possible without the consent of the other party.
Liability
The liability is subject to the ORGALIME S2012 - General Conditions for the Supply of Mechanical,
Electrical and Electronic Products, however, the liability for consequential damages and losses of any kind
is excluded.
Place of jurisdiction
The place of jurisdiction is the legal domicile of the supplier or at the discretion of the supplier. The plaintiff
is also authorized to take legal action at the place of jurisdiction of the respondent.
Even if the order is accepted by the supplier, the purchasing conditions of the purchaser will not become
part of the contract.
Force Majeure in the ORGALIME S2012 - General Conditions for the Supply of Mechanical, Electrical and
Electronic Products shall also include pandemics and epidemics.
Further, the parties agree that the Covid-19-Pandemic shall be qualified as Force Majeure event,
irrespective of the predictability of its effects at time of the formation of the Contract.
Data Protection
Within the framework of the (pre-)contract negotiations and the fulfilment of the present contract, personal
data of the other party have been or will be collected and processed by the parties.
By signing this contract, the purchaser agrees to the processing of personal data by the supplier in
accordance with its applicable Data Protection Declaration: https://www.ammann-group.com/en/data-
protection.
The purchaser may use the personal data received from the supplier for the performance of the present
Contract only; any further processing of such data is prohibited to the purchaser.
Validity
The offer is without engagement and valid for 1 month(s) from date of offer, and is subject to fluctuations
of currencies, the procurement market development and subject to a site inspection by the supplier,
particularly with regard to plant retrofits.
Yours sincerely,
Weber Beat

1 AMMANN Burner
Ammann MIBG burner is a fully automatic fan burner with fan and with modulating output regulation for
burning natural gas (N), liquid gas (FG), light oil (EL) and heavy oil (S). The burner can also be configured
as a dual-fuel burner.
The burner housing has an air intake shaft with air flaps. The intake side of the fan is equipped with a
soundproofing hood with air deflection for optimum soundproofing.
An electronic control unit is used for continuous control of the fuel quantity and the combustion air.
The starting procedure is managed by an automatic firing system that is integrated in the electronic control
unit, which provides optimum safety in any operating mode in conjunction with a flame monitoring device.
There is an air deficiency switch between the fan and the air flaps for monitoring the combustion air.
Ignition is carried out by an automatic gas ignition burner, which is ignited itself by a high-voltage spark.
The ignition burner can be operated using either natural gas or propane gas. When light oil (EL) is being
used on its own, a direct ignition device can also be used. Ignition takes place via a high-voltage spark
directly at the combustible fuel mixture.
The oil burner lance is equipped with an automatic zero shut-off which is opened via a pneumatic piston
and closed using spring power. The zero shut-off takes place using a shut-off needle behind the nozzle
plate. (TüV tested zero shut-off).
The output is controlled by high pressure (HD) in the oil with an oil quantity regulator, which is adjusted by
an internal control actuator via the electronic unit with infinitely variable positioning. At low pressure (ND),
the power is regulated by the oil quantity regulator in the supply.
A solenoid valve in the oil supply, oil return and the shut-off needle behind the nozzle plate prevent oil
escaping from the nozzle when the burner is non-operational.
A thermostat at the heavy oil supply monitors the maximum and minimum temperature. Two pressure
switches monitor the oil pressure. A high-pressure plate nozzle is used for the HD oil atomization. A Y
external atomizer nozzle is used for the ND oil atomization.
For gas burner, the gas is mixed with the swirled air using a gas distribution ring. The output is controlled
by a gas control flap, which is adjusted by a control actuator via the electronic unit with infinitely variable
positioning.

2a Burner Control System
It is simple and easily configured to meet a wide and varied range of application requirements from small
industrial burners to large complex systems: everything can be controlled. It allows simultaneous firing of
different fuels; no shutdown of burner required during changing of fuel source. It is approved in accordance
with the following relevant standards for industrial combustion applications: EN298, EN12067-2, EN1643,
UL, CSA, GL Marine Approval, SIL 3 according to EN61508. It uses fieldbus communications PROFINET as
