GOD THE CONSUMING FIRE

“For our God is a consuming FIRE”(Hebrews 12:29)

God is a supernatural being that has all power in heaven and on earth. His glory shines like fire
and the raiment of his garment is beautified with fire.

God is a merciful father, but He is also a consuming fire. Everything about God is Fire. His
throne abides like a consuming fire (Psalm 66:7), and He himself is the Fire that burns. He
appeared to Moses as a Fire (Exodus 3:1-4), He answered Elijah with fire(1 King 18:37-38), And
He promised to destroy the earth with fire.

God is indeed a CONSUMING FIRE.

HUMAN BEING CREATED IN THE LIKENESS OF GOD

(FIRE)
“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our LIKENESS:” (Genesis 1:26a)

God is a consuming fire, if He created us in his likeness, then it means that we are also a
consuming fire.

We were told in the book of genesis that we are created in the likeness and image. Therefore,
this made us qualify to become fire.

When I was still in the Anglican Children Ministry, I was told that we cannot see God because
HE is light and HE is covered with Fire.

But, the book of Genesis 2 told us that Adam and Eve communicated to God. So it means that
they saw God face to face. And do not forget that we cannot see God because is a Fire. The
question here is “how did Adam and Eve had the privilege to see God face to face?”

Therefore, what could have made Adam and Eve saw God was because, at that time, they were
made to be Fire.

To clear our doubt, let quickly look at the story of the man that was able to see God's back.

The book of Exodus 33:18-23 tells us the full story of this man that was made to see the back of
God. The end result of what happened to Moses, gives a better understanding on how we were
created to be like GOD (THE CONSUMING FIRE).

So, The question that ponders my heart is “why can't we behold the face of God again? Or does
it mean that we are not actually like God?”

DEVIL UNDERSTANDING OF THE FIRE STRUCTURE

“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning!how art thou cut down to the
ground, which didst weaken the nations!” (Isaiah 14:12)

Lucifer was a Cherubim in heaven. He was created to sing praises to God in the morning, that
was why he was called the son of the morning.

Lucifer was made in a different way from the other angels. (Note: All the angel are created in
the raiment of fire, that is why they can relate with God and see him).

Lucifer rebel against God and he was sent away from the heavens to dwell under the earth.
(Revelation 12:7-9)

Lucifer became the devil and also became the ugliest creature on earth.

After God created man, Satan was so annoyed and angry. So he understood that, what could
make him loose his fire and also made him the person God does not want to see anymore, was
the rebellious and sinful attitude he did. So he planned to plant the seed of sin in man.

DEVIL STRATEGIES OF ELIMINATING THE FIRE

“The thief (Satan) cometh not, but to steal, kill, and to destroy:” (John 10:10)

Since the devil now understand the structure of the fire (connection between man and God),
His plan is to eliminate the fire.

Genesis 3:1-24 explained how the devil was able to eradicate this fire and the lack of fire made
man far away from God and that was why we cannot behold God face to face.

CHAPTER 2
THE COMING OF JESUS CHRIST (THE BURNING ONE)

“Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a
son, and shall call his name Immanuel.” (Isaiah 7:14)

If we read the book of Genesis 3, we will see that in verse 15, God said that a savior will come
from the seed of the woman (Eve) and crush the serpent's head. The savior referred to in that
verse is Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ came to refurbish the dead fire in us. If you have been reading carefully from the
beginning, you will notice that the fire in us was what made us to communicate with God face
to face.

Therefore, Jesus Christ came to Restore the fire we have lost to the devil. (Note: This fire in us
was with made us have dominion on the earth before we sold it to the devil).

Jesus Christ is the one that made our Charcoal Burn with flames.

JESUS CHRIST PROMISE TO GIVE US THE FIRE TILL

ETERNITY
“If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you
another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; (John 14:1516)”

Jesus will not remain on earth forever, because he has other mission to complete in heaven.
And he also has to go back to his father, because there is no father that won't miss is son that
has gone for year. (Note: The reason I wrote here, are not the major reason why Jesus Christ
ascended to Heaven)

Therefore, Jesus has to leave us and go to his father, so Jesus cannot leave us like that, so he
plead with his father to send another comforter(fire) that will be with us forever. Which is
the………

THE TRUE FIRE (HOLY FIRE)

“And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of
them”(ACTS 2:3)

After the ascension of Jesus Christ in Acts 1, the comforter came in the form of Fire (HOLY FIRE)
and shew himself to them.

The True Fire; also known as the Holy spirit, is the gift that Jesus promised us. And this Holy
spirit serves as our raiment of fire that makes us qualified to be in the presence of God. So it
means that if you don't have the Fire in you, you will not feel the fullness of God presence.

These fire is so essential to human life. And if you don't have it, the devil will make mess of you.

(If you are filled with this fire, can you speak in the language of heaven for just 1 minute)

Furthermore, The true fire also enables you to communicate in heavenly language. If we could
trace back to creation story in the bible, Adam and Eve played and communicate with God
fluently. But that minute they rebel, they could not speak the heavenly language.

Now, the true fire as been sent by God to us, so that we can speak fluently to God. (Note: God
understand all languages, but there is a specific language that he understand so well, which is
the heavenly language: known as speaking in tongues). If you have this true fire in you, and you
are not speaking the heavenly language, then something is wrong with your charcoal.

The true fire has so many significant and benefits, so if you are human, and you do not have this
fire, then you are missing a lot.

BENEFITS OF THE TRUE FIRE

1. YOU WILL HAVE THE PRIVILEDGE OF COMMUNICATING TO GOD DIRECTLY.

2. YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SPEAK THE HEAVENLY LANGUAGE.
3. YOU WILL BE ABLE TO GET YOUR DOMINION BACK FROM THE DEVIL.
4. YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DO HEAVENLY THINGS ON EARTH
5. YOU WILL BE ABLE TO PLEASE GOD
6. THIS TRUE FIRE WILL BE IN CONTROL OF EVERYTHING THAT CONCERNS YOU.

Brothers, sisters, uncle, aunties, Fathers and mothers, if you don't have this true fire in
you, then you are not conscious of your living on earth. Do not let anyone tell you
powers and principalities of this world are not real. Do not allow the devil to make you a
caged bird. You really need the TRUE FIRE.
GOD IS THE TRUE FIRE
“FOR OUR GOD IS CONSUMING FIRE” (HEBREWS 12:29)
God is this true fire that dwell in us.
If God is fire, then it means that once we have the true fire, we have God in us.
The book of John 4:24 says “God is a spirit: and they that worship him must worship him
in spirit and truth”. This particular verse of the scripture shows that God, Jesus, and the
True Fire (Holy Spirit) are one.
(This is to give clarity to the trinity)

CHAPTER 3
FIRE BECOMING CHARCOAL
THE SPIRIT IT SELF BEARETH WITNESS WITH OUR SPIRIT (ROMANS 8:16 A)

The Spirit (FIRE) itself bears witness with our Spirit (charcoal)

Just as the normal charcoal bears witness with the fire, so the Holy spirit bear witness with us.

Charcoal is use for generating fire. So it means that charcoal and fire have become a mutual
friends, and they share great relationship.

If a hot fire is burning, and it is wet with water, the fire dies and becomes charcoal.

(BEFORE MOVING FORWARD, CAN YOU TELL GOD TO OPEN THE EYES OF YOUR
UNDERSTANDING).

So, when the true fire in you, is watered with sin, the fire dies and it becomes charcoal.

That is, if you allow sin into your life, the holy spirit will leave you and you will be left with only
your spirit man. The question that needs to be answered is “IS YOUR FIRE STILL BURNING?”

CHARCOAL THE BEAUTIFIER

Charcoal becomes useless, when it is not Burning.

Although, Charcoal can be use to beautifier the body, and it can serve as dye. But the beauty of
a charcoal is when it is burning.

Your spirit man becomes useless when you don't have the holy spirit in you.

Although, the spirit man can still help in some aspect, but the spirit man becomes active when
there is the Holy Ghost.

HOW TO LIGHT YOUR CHARCOAL

“IF MY PEOPLE WHO ARE CALLED BY NAME, WILL HUMBLE THEMSELVES AND PRAY AND SEEK
MY FACE AND TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS, THEN I WILL HEAR FROM HEAVEN, AND I
WILL FORGIVE THEIR SIN AND HEAL THEIRLAND”

When you observe that your fire is turning to mere charcoal, go to God, and confess all you
have done, and stop you wicked act, then he will forgive you, and put you back on fire.

In some cases, you will have to be the one to put on the fire, through your fasting, prayers and
studying and meditating the word of God.

If you think the second point is not that easy, then try this:

Meet others that have the fire of God in the greatly, and make them pray and fast , and even
study the word with you. Remember, iron sharpeneth iron, so a man sharpeneth the
countenance of his friend (proverbs 27:17)

CHARCOAL BECOMING THE BEAUTIFER'S FIRE

A Charcoal becomes beautiful when it is lightened up with fire.

If you observe the charcoal, you will see that is beautiful and useful for the master's use, if the
fire is able to burn into it the charcoal. So, the charcoal turns to white, to show its readiness for
use.

So brethren, if you do not burn till your raiment becomes white, God will not use you for
greater task like he Jesus did.

Brethren, is your fire burning? Will you fire burn till the end of days?

Can we pray in tongues for one minute before we move to the last chapter.

CHAPTER 4
FIRE THAT BURNS PRODUCTS INTO FINISH
GOODS
The fire that burns products into finished goods, is the fire that would have been burning for
hours before the product is placed on it.

If you fire is burning little by little, it won't be used, because it will damage the product.

God can not send you to rise the dead when your fire is at 15%. God will not send a weak man
In the spirit to fight a giant.

David was small physically, but spiritually, Goliath is the the shortest and vice versa. That was
why David was able to kill Goliath.

So brethren, you have to charge that fire, so that your fire can burn for the masters use.

THE FINISHED PRODUCT

The finished product here is the glory of God. When God send you to do something, know
that the finished product is that his name should be glorified.

Can you give God the glory for everything he has done?

Jesus Christ return all glory to God. So if Jesus did it, why don't you try it out.

Give God the glory.
