CORPORATE MAIL

STEP 1
Set up your account HOW TO USE?
Contact your IT Executive to create your
corporate email account. They will
provide you with the necessary
credentials, including your username and
password

STEP 2
Access your corporate mail
Open your preferred web browser and
enter the URL email.gov.et for accessing
the corporate email. Alternatively, you
can use an email client application such
as Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla
Thunderbird

Compose a new email
To send an email, click on the "New"
button. A blank email form will
appear. Fill in the recipient's email
address, subject line, and compose
your message in the body of the email.

STEP 6
Attach files (if necessary) If you need
to attach any files to your email, email
clients have an attachment button
(usually represented by a paperclip
icon). Click on it and select the files
you want to attach from your
computer or cloud storage.

STEP 7
Review and send Before sending the
right click on your name
email, double-check the recipient's
email address, subject line, and the
content of the email to ensure
accuracy and professionalism. Once
you're satisfied, click the "Send"
button.
STEP 8
Organize your emails To keep your
inbox organized, create folders or Example
labels for different categories of type folder name
emails. You can move emails to
specific folders by selecting them and urgent
choosing the appropriate option from
the menu or toolbar.

Reply and forward emails When you
receive an email, you can reply by
clicking on the "Reply" button. To
forward the email to someone else,
click on the "Forward" button.
Compose your response or enter the
recipient's email address accordingly

STEP 10
Manage spam and junk mail If you
receive spam or junk mail, mark it as
such to train the email client's spam
filters. This will help improve the
accuracy of filtering unwanted emails
in the future.

STEP 11
Keep your account secure Regularly update
your password and follow any security
guidelines provided by MoPD IT Executive.
Be cautious when opening attachments or
clicking on links from unknown or
suspicious senders.

STEP 12
Log out When you're finished using your
corporate email, remember to log out of
your account to ensure the privacy and
security of your messages.
