The four classmates are at the doorway of the classroom. The two males are
walking towards it (Lao and Wish).
And one female opens the door for them (Kate). The other female (Jez)
waves them in, excited. Lao stays by the door, waiting. The two females
notice he’s lagging behind, so they make a gesture for him to join with smiles
on their faces.
Music: Light, bouncy background music. Upbeat like “Happy Ukulele” style
music. (Music notes)
The group moves toward their desks. Lao sits down first at his desk and
gestures to the others to sit. One of the females (Kate) playfully challenges
him to a race to the desk by miming an exaggerated “ready, set, go” pose
(make a pretend running pose). Jez laughs and nudges the Kate to stop. They
end up just sitting down normally, but there’s kind of a playful awkward
moment.
Jez accidentally knocks over a pencil towards Lao, and Lao reaches over and
grabs it, all with a super exaggerated, slow-motion effort. Meanwhile, the
Kate grabs the pencil and hands it to her, with a very overly dramatic “you’re
welcome” face. Kind of proud. Lao smiles in appreciation, the group chuckles.
Kate, while trying to pass a notebook, accidentally spills a drink (or water
bottle) on the table. She looks at it in horror, and Lao immediately digs into
his bag for tissue and gives it to her. He gestures like he’s the hero of the
situation (Pretend you’re superman). Kate with the spilled drink is both
embarrassed and grateful. The group smiles and shakes their heads at the
disaster.
Music: A bit of chaotic, comedic music. “Benny Hill” style. (????? Depends)
The bell rings (will be edited in), signaling the end of class. The group slowly
gets up to leave, while Lao stays seated just a moment longer, giving a nod.
The two females wave him off as they leave. He smiles and raises his hand in
a mock farewell (maybe do a salute?). The camera zooms out with everyone
exiting.
