Airside

Use suitable PPE as per allocation

Before Approaching Aircraft, Check


• Aircraft must come to a complete stop and engines should spool down
• Anti-collision beacon to be switched off & chocks to be placed
• Positive clearance from AME/Technician

Alignment / Removal of equipment


• Safety Cones to be placed before aligning any
equipment
• STOP passenger Ramp 3 feet away for alignment
• Ensure all Lock and Jacks are secured when equipment is
aligned to the aircraft
• Ensure Safe gap is maintained, before and after the
passenger disembarkation

Welcome mat to be placed before boarding


and removed after boarding is completed

Ensure No baggage is left unattended on the tarmac

Always use Trolley Grab Handle to avoid Injuries

Dress appropriately for extreme weather by selecting suitable clothing


to ensure comfort and safety.

Take necessary precautions during Adverse Weather
• Monitor weather alerts from OCC/Airport Operator
• Place 12 chocks on the Aircraft
• Ensure all equipment/vehicle shall be parked at designated
parking area
• Verify all equipment is locked and secured at airside
• Ensure all equipment/vehicle headlight and beacon lights are
turned on
• Ensure to follow designated vehicle lane to avoid any collusion

Flight Manager
• Pre-Flight Equipment check to be conducted
• Ramp Turnaround checklist to be timely filled with required details
• Stanchion Rod and Compartment/Door side nets are locked & secured
• Orientation Label to be followed for Special Load (PER, HUM, etc.)
• Final Loading pictures are timely captured
• Verify the Number of Final Passenger with PRS (If Applicable)
Load sheet to be verified before submission by Flight manager/Load officer on:
• Final POB with Passenger Breakup using 6E Port
• Distribution of Dead load as per LIR
• Update LDM for Special Load & NOTOC to be shared with PIC

If any Damaged observed in compartment report immediately


to available Engineer/Technician and Ramp Manager

Wing walking to be done ONLY by trained &


authorized personnel
Use illuminated wands during night (or) low-
visibility

Check-In Crew
• Infant must be assigned seats on rows with Infant Signage (GoNow)
• Use Go-Now check-in mode for seating of Infant, Wheelchair and Child
customer.
• In case customers and their baggage must be moved from live flight,
communication on such changes to be shared with BMA and Gate
manager to avoid any discrepancy on the flight.
• If Customers age is uncertain based on their appearance verify DOB
to ensure customer is above 15 years before assigning Emergency
exit rows.
• To avoid issuing of wrong boarding pass to the customers, always
read back details such as customer name, flight number and
destination only then handover the boarding pass.

Check-in & Ground crew must monitor hand baggage size & Weight
before SHA
Any oversized bags will be retrieved and loaded in the cargo holds.
Ensure that customer is not carrying any prohibited and or any
dangerous goods.
Inform passengers to hand over assistive devices at the boarding ladder.

Gate Manager/Crew
• Ask safety question to ensure only eligible customer, age above 15
years and able-bodied customer is seated on emergency exit rows.
• If handbags are retrieved always ensure that customer is not carrying
any prohibited and or any dangerous goods.
• Always pay attention to Amber, Red, Blue alerts during boarding, pause
and pause and verify customer details before releasing customer, to
avoid any boarding discrepancies and safety violations.
• Avoid multi-tasking while boarding and reconciling the customers at
gates to avoid:
➢ Boarding customer to wrong flight
➢ Missing the scanning of customer boarding pass
➢ GNS customer onboard
➢ Customer reporting to wrong flight
