I am writing
this sop in reference to my previously rejected visa application. While I respect the decision taken by
the committee , I am determined any shortcomings and reapply for upcoming admission cycle.
Refusal ground• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by
paragraph R216(1)(b) of the IRPR (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/sor-2002-227/section-
216.html). I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will leave Canada,
based on the following factors:
• The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have
provided in your application.
• I am not satisfied that you will be able to complete your program of study as there is insufficient
evidence to determine whether or not you have the language ability to do so. Refused under R216(1)(b).
Upon careful reflection on reasons for my application refusal mainly concerning my return to Nepal , I
would like to add additional insight to my application convencieng my return to Nepal addressing the
concern proactively
Family ties: most of my close family members reside in Nepal and my bond with them is of upmost
importance to me. They have been a great support system until this day and are integral part of me. I
am commited to maintaining these ties and present for their achivements and milestones . these familial
connection serves as a foundation reinforcing my return to Nepal.
Future plans : After completing my Bachelor’s degree in Canada, I aim to return back to Nepal to
secure an entry-level position as an Entry Level Communications Specialist in a renowned
communications agency or an in-house corporate communications department. Companies such as
Ogilvy Nepal or Himalayan Times Communications could be potential employers. Here, my
responsibilities would include content creation, social media management, and assisting in public
relations campaigns. To facilitate my seamless transition , I understand the importance of acquiring
specialized skills and experiences in crisis management, communication strategies, and public relations
. As the time progresses aim to be promotes to be senior communication specialist This progression
will involve targeted training programs, real-world simulations, and networking opportunities with
industry experts.
With substantial experience under my belt, I envision myself leading communications teams at
prominent organizations like Nepal Investment Bank or Ncell Pvt. Ltd. In this capacity, I would be
responsible for devising comprehensive communication strategies, crisis management, and overseeing
all aspects of corporate communication.
