1. Open your Remote Desktop Client.
2. Connect to the server using the IP 172.16.4.27.
3. Enter the username and password (shared over text) to log in.

Step 2: Access Desktop and Copy Files

1. Once logged into the server, go to the Desktop.
2. Look for a folder named STQC and open it.
3. Inside the STQC folder, you will see two folders. One of them is named unix-script.
script.
4. Copy the folder 'unix-script'
script' to the Lin

d. Set the Transfer Settings to 'Text' to ensure files are transferred in text mode.

e. Drag and drop the unix-script

script folder from the desktop to the Linux server inside /tmp
directory on your server.

Step 3: Run the Script

1. cd unix-scripts

2. Execute the script lscript.sh with root / sudo privileges:

sudo sh lscript.sh
This will run the script and generate a text file named hostname.txt inside the unix-script
unix
folder.

e.g., pcpisecweb0003.txt got created

Step 4: Transfer the Generated File to the FTP Server

1. The script will generate a text file named hostname.txt (or yourmachinename.txt) in the
unix-script folder.
2. Copy the .txt file and paste it into the same SCP session under the 'report stqc 2024'
folder. Inside this folder, create a new folder with your group name and paste the .txt file
inside that folder

3 . Perform the same steps on all of your servers as outlined in Annexure A. Copy and paste
all the generated .txt files into your group folder. Once done mark yes or no in the column
name Steps done (Yes / No) any error may paste the same in column Error Message if any.
