Answer
Availability
Team success comes from diverse members exchanging and building upon each other’s ideas.
This means a team must effectively and routinely communicate. A team also thrives because of
individual contributions, which depends on the availability of all members. This information
helps us place you with a team with greatest overlap in availability if selected.

Each individual team program will run for 8 weeks. Rank in order of preference (1 is most
preferred) the following 8-week date ranges you will be available to participate in the program.
If you have no preference between two or more date ranges, assign them the same rank #. You
are expected to be available and participate in the program at least 7 out of the 8 weeks. Enter
“N/A” if you are not available for more than 1 week within the range. Please enter the dates
you are unavailable next to “Unavailable (optional)” if they fall within a date range for which
you entered a rank #.

June 3 – July 26: rank # or N/A

June 10 – August 2: rank # or N/A
June 17 – August 9: rank # or N/A
June 24 – August 16: rank # or N/A
July 1 – August 23: rank # or N/A

Unavailable (optional): mm/dd – mm/dd

Approximately half-time (4 hours / day on average) dedicated to a combination of synchronous

team discussion and asynchronous individual work is expected. Please provide approximate
hour ranges (hh:mm - hh:mm or unavailable) for each day of the week that you expect to be
able to dedicate to this activity on a recurring basis for the date ranges you provided. The total
hours covered by the times you indicate should sum to at least 20 hours. This information will
help us maximize overlapping time ranges of availability within teams to spend on synchronous
team discussion. With this system, it should not matter if teams are spread across different
time zones if we maximize time zone adjusted overlapping time ranges of availability.

Time zone: e.g. Hawaii, Alaska, Pacific, Mountain, Central, Eastern, Atlantic
Mondays: hh:mm - hh:mm
Tuesdays: hh:mm - hh:mm
Wednesdays: hh:mm - hh:mm
Thursdays: hh:mm - hh:mm
Fridays: hh:mm - hh:mm
