Christmas Celebration Anchoring Script

(Introduction)

Anchor 1:

"Good evening to one and all present here! A warm welcome to our esteemed Chief Guest,
Father George Jacob, our respected Principal, Vice Principal, Headmistress, dedicated
teachers, hardworking non-teaching staff, and my dear fellow students. It is truly an honor to
have you all with us today as we come together to celebrate the joyous occasion of Christmas!"

Anchor 2:
"As we gather in the spirit of Christmas, let us remember that this is a time to embrace the
values of love, kindness, peace, and unity. Today, we have an exciting lineup of performances
that will fill our hearts with joy. So, without further ado, let’s begin our celebration."

(Opening prayer, Prayer song, Bible reading)

Anchor 1:

To start our celebration, let us invoke the blessings of God. I now invite our ASPL Melissa
Veedon to lead us in the opening prayer, led by the talented students of class 11, to lift our
spirits further with a prayer song, followed by the bible reading by our SPL Edwin Abraham to
reflect us on the words of the bible. I request everyone to rise up for the opening prayer.

(Welcome Speech by the Head Boy)


Anchor 2:
Please be seated. We now move to the welcome address. To officially greet everyone and set
the tone for today’s celebration, please join me in welcoming our Head Boy, Betson K Bijoy, to
deliver the welcome speech."

Anchor 1:
Thank you Betson, for that warm welcome. Now we would like to hear from our respected
principal, who unfortunately could not be here with us today. However, she has sent a special
audio message to address us all. Let’s take a moment to listen to her words.

"Thank you, Head Boy, for that warm welcome. Now, let’s get into the festive spirit with a
delightful Christmas dance performance by our youngest performers, the LKG students.This
lively and colorful presentation celebrates the joy of the season filled with love, happiness, and
the true spirit of Christmas. Let’s give them a big round of applause as they take the stage!"

Anchor 1:
"That was such an adorable performance by our LKG students! Next, we have a special
Christmas recital by the bright and cheerful students of class 2. This cheerful tune captures the
excitement and magic of santa’s arrival. Let’s listen to their beautiful recital with all our hearts."

"Thank you, class 2, for that wonderful recital. Now, let’s enjoy another delightful Christmas
dance, this time by the lively UKG students. This performance capture the magic and warmth of
christmas day, bringing to life the spirit of togetherness and festive cheer. Let’s show them our

"That was indeed a festive treat from the UKG students! Now, we have a Christmas recital by
the students of classes 3, 4, and 5. Let’s hear them as they share the joy of Christmas with us!"

"Thank you, classes 3, 4, and 5, for that wonderful recital. Now, it’s time for the 1st standard
students to take us on a magical journey with their angel dance. Let’s welcome them with open
hearts!"

Anchor 2:
"That was an enchanting performance by the 1st grade students! Now, we have the honor of
inviting our PTA president, Advocate Hariprabha, to felicitate our special guests and the
participants. Please welcome Advocate Hariprabha to the stage."

"Thank you, Advocate Hariprabha, for your kind words. Now, let’s hear the beautiful Christmas

esteemed Chief Guest, Vicar Rev. Father George Jacob, of CSI St Paul’s church, Mooledam.
He is the present cheif editor of Njananikshepam. I invite fr. George Jacob to share a special
Christmas message with us. Let’s listen to his words of wisdom and inspiration."

"Thank you, Father George, for that beautiful message. Now, we have a Christmas recital by the
talented students of class 7. Let’s welcome them with applause as they take the stage."
