 You should check the alignment image on the viva for checking there is a bad

pixel or not.

Good Alignment Image A bad Pixel on Alignment Image


 If there is a bad pixel on alignment image, please follow the directions with
below sequence.

 Please click ‘open’ and go to


C:\IMAGERs\Sensor Serial No\Defect Maps
 You should change the file type ‘VIVA
(16-bit UNIT with header; *.viv)’ to ‘Any
Files (*.*)’ to appear defect map file on
the window.
 Select ‘mode_0_defect_map’ file on
window and then click ‘open’ button on
below window.

mode_0_defect_map CT
mode_64lines_map (Only DX) Panorama
mode_3_defect_map Panorama

※Notice
We are using only above 2 files of defect map.
 The window, VIVA – Image Dimension appears like below, you should change
the values for fitting your device condition . ex)Panorama or CT
It is the most important thing to do defect map, because of deciding dimension
of image.

※Notice
Please put below value into the window, VIVA – Image Dimension after knowing
of sensor type and the device function.

1308 & 1308 DX CT 0 512 320
1313 & 1313 DX CT 0 512 512
1308 & 1313 Panorama 0 1024 32
1308 & 1313 DX Panorama 0 1024 64
 When you finished to put values into the window, VIVA – Image Dimension,
above window will be came out.
 You should click ‘Yes’ button.
 There is black image on the top of VIVA.

 Please go to ‘Tools->Defects->Defect Map Editor…’


 If you done the previous direction, the images come out on the VIVA like above.
Please drag it to big window.

 Please drag
‘mode_0_defect_map’ on the
top of VIVA.
 There are a lot of white points
on the black image. It is called
bad pixels.
 If you click ‘OR Image’ button, it copies white points on the black image to the
white image to do defect map.

※Notice
Don’t forget the sequence.
CASE.01

 The contexts appear when you click the mouse ‘Right’


button on the black image and then you should mark bad
pixels on the black image.
 There are also 4 kinds of marks to do ‘defect map’.
 If you finished all of mark to defect map, please click
‘Transmit’ button and then also click ‘close’ button.
CASE.02

 There is still bad pixels on the alignment.


 Please drag alignment image to left window on the VIVA.
 You should follow same above sequence before marking bad
pixels.
 You should mark bad pixels on alignment image and click
‘Transmit’ button and then click ‘Close’ button.
