Senior / Lead Full-Stack Developer (Web3)

Our client, the development studio, is a Web3 gaming and investment community, delivering
high-value products and services across the industry.

Their current development focus is on expanding their community through cross-IP gamification
and partnerships. This includes integration work on games, development of utility and gamified
NFTs, as well as and customer-facing products such as a marketplace and custom launchpad
apps.

As a Senior / Lead Full-Stack Developer, you will be responsible for critical Web3 development
projects across the whole lifecycle, from ideation and development to deployment and ongoing
operation. Responsibilities can include any or all of architecture, front-end / back-end / full-stack
coding, smart contract development and general integration of Web3 tech for games, websites /
apps and other systems.

There is a great deal of autonomy in this role and much opportunity to grow within a scale-up or-
ganization. You’ll work on co-developed solutions with the top-tier projects in the Web3 gaming
sector.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements, goals, deliverables, timelines

Plan, steer, and coordinate Web3-focused projects through to successful outcomes

Lead the architecture, design, development, testing, security and operation of Web3-based soft-
ware systems

Work on internal and partner products, such as mini-games, meta-games and NFT launches

Conduct code reviews and provide guidance and feedback to other developers on best prac-
tices and coding standards, procedures, technologies etc.

Ensure correctness and stability of business-critical systems, to meet operational targets /


SLAs, including prompt resolution of live issues

Develop secure code and ensure proper processes are followed such as smart contract audits,
in order to prevent code vulnerabilities and their exploitation

Monitor analytics / user feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement these
Support the creation and maintenance of documentation for technical / product specifications,
architecture, system testing, project charters etc. at an appropriate level

Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Web3 and especially Web3 gaming, to
enhance the team's skills and keep the games competitive

Participate in team meetings, community engagement, and internal/external communications as


a representative for all development tasks

Requirements

7+ years’ experience in back-end / full-stack software development, including 2-3+ years in


Web3

Senior or (ideally) Lead-level roles, minimum of two major full-lifecycle projects

Back-end development with Javascript technologies

Front-end development using React

Strong knowledge and experience of blockchain concepts, smart contracts, Web3 architecture

Web3 development, including Solidity coding on L1 ETH and exposure to L2

Bachelor’s degree in computer programming, computer science, or a related field or equivalent


practical experience

Strong analytical and technical skills are a must

Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

Strong communication and presentation skills

Must be able to speak fluent English and have excellent written English skills

Bonus skills

AWS / DevOps skills

Games development experience is ideal


Location

Fully Remote.

EU time zone or +/- 3UTC – need to be available for EU working hours, to interface with team.
