1 Draw a double ended clipper circuit & Explain its working principle with transfer characteristics.
2 With a neat circuit diagram. Explain diode characteristics.

3 Draw & explain the working of clamper circuit which clamps the positive peak of a signal to zero.

4 What is clamping circuit? Explain the negative clamping circuit with & without reference voltage with
necessary waveforms and Applications of clipping and clamping circuits.
5 Define Operating Point? Explain the procedure to find the operating Point (Q-Point) of a transistor.
6 Derive an expression for ETH, IB, &VCE for voltage divider bias circuit analysis.
7 For a voltage divider bias circuit RC=1KΩ, RE=470Ω, R1=10KΩ, R2=5KΩ, β=100. Determine the
stability factor SICO. Draw the circuit diagram.
8 Draw the circuit of voltage divider bias. Take the circuit parameters as Vcc=10V,R2=17KΩ, R1=83KΩ,
RC=2KΩ, RE=0.5KΩ, Find Q Point & terminal voltages. The transistor as β =100 & VBE=0.7V.
9 For a voltage divider bias circuit VCC=18V, RC=3.3KΩ, RE=1KΩ, R1=39KΩ, R2=82KΩ, β=120,
VBE=0.7V. Determine the Q Point and stability factor SICO. Draw the circuit diagram.
10 Consider a fixed bias circuit of a transistor. Obtain expressions for stability factor SICO(S), SVBE(S’),
&Sβ(S’’).Draw the circuit diagram.
11 Explain the operation of transistor as switch with suitable circuit & necessary waveforms.
12 Derive the expression for stability factor for voltage divider biasing circuit with respect to SICO(S),
SVBE(S’).
13 What is bias compensation using thermistor and sensistor?
14 Draw the D.C load line for the Following transistor configuration. Obtain the Q-Point. VCC=12V,
RC=330Ω, RE=200Ω, R1=5.2KΩ, R2=1.24KΩ, β=100, VBE=0.7V.
