I. Câu điều kiện loại 1:
If + S + Vhtd, S + will/can (not) + Vinf…
Vhtd: I,you,we,they, danh từ số nhiều + V(nguyên thể)
She ,he,it,danh từ số ít+ Vs/Ves
I am …../ she,he,it , danh từ số ít+ Is/ you,we,they,danh từ số nhiều+ are
=>Nói về điều kiện có thể xảy ra ở hiện tại hoặc tương lai
II. Câu điều kiện loại 2:
If + S + Vqkđ, S + would/could (not) + Vnguyên thể
Vqkđ: Ved nếu có quy tắc/ V2 nếu bất quy tắc(cột thứ 2 trong bảng chia động từ)
Did not + V nguyên thể
I,he,he,it,you,we,they +be chia la were + danh từ/tính từ

=>Nói về một điều kiện mà người nói tin rằng KHÔNG THỂ thực sự xảy ra trong hiện tại.
III. Câu điều kiện loại 3:
If + S + had + Ved/V3, S + would/could + have + Ved/V3
=>Nói về điều kiện ĐÃ KHÔNG xảy ra trong quá khứ, trái ngược với quá kh
