Golden Tips for Speaking part 1

- Don't think about the timing. Giving sometimes short and
long answers is okay. (Sometimes your answer can be 10
seconds, sometimes it can be 40 seconds. It really depends
on the situation)
Don't make your answers overcomplicated!
- Try to relate ideas to your own life/experience
- Always support your ideas by giving a reason, explanation or
an example.
-Don't use some memorized patterns such as “That is an
interesting question. I have never thought about it before. Let
me think"

1. What are the tourist attractions in your country?
— Historical places such as Samarkand and Bukhara
— Mountainous areas for a picnic

2. Why do tourists visit historical places?

— Some tourists are into history
— Some tourists are into designing

3. Do you think tourism is good for the country?

— Good because it creates job opportunities for locals
— Bad because it is damaging to the environment

4. Does tourism have to do with cultural exchange?

— Yes, because tourists communicate with locals about
tradition and cultures.

5. Do old and young people choose different places to go on

holiday?
— Places that offer nightlife, adventure and social activities
— Places that offer tranquility and natural beauty

1. Who tends to take more risks, older people, or young

people?

I think young people tend to take more risks as opposed to

older people mainly because they’re open to new experiences
and challenges. They usually have fewer responsibilities,
which is why they aren’t afraid of taking risks.
In contrast, older people tend to be more conservative and
cautious due to their responsibilities and mindset.

2. Do you think the jobs people do in the future will change?

I’m not really sure about it, honestly

but I feel like there will be more automated and less manual
jobs in the future because there might be some robots
working in restaurants or robots teaching english in some
schools. It's possible, you never know and most jobs will be
technology-focused, people might be working online from the

comfort of their home, yeah.

3. What are the advantages of shopping at a big shopping
center?

The biggest advantage that I can think of right now is it's a

one-stop shopping destination. You know when people go to a
big shopping center, they don't need to go to another shop
because they can find all kinds of products there

On top of that, people will have more options because there's

much variety in big shops and they can find a wide variety of
the same item, which is good.

4. Can you think of any disadvantages of it?

Yes, I can. Of course, it's not without its downsides. You know
sometimes a big shopping center tends to be overcrowded
there might be sometimes too many people around and it
usually leads to lack of personal space which makes you feel
uncomfortable.
Apart from that, the noise level can be so high sometimes and
it's also annoying, really.

5. Do you think tourism is good for the country?

I’m in two minds about it.

On the one hand, it is good because it creates job

opportunities for local residents. This is because when tourists
visit, they spend money on different services and products.
This, in turn, creates employment for locals.

On the other hand, it is bad because it can be damaging to

the environment. You know when an influx of tourists visit a
particular historical place, they tend to leave their trash
carelessly. They can cause noise and air pollution too.
