Introduction to Oral Communications for the Beginning Design Student

Presentation Assessment

Prepare a 2-4 minute recorded presentation of the static design assignment using screencast software.
After recording your presentation, upload it to the dropbox. As a class, we will review the videos. You
will be asked to discuss the following questions along with your project content. In preparation reflect
on the following:

Presentation:

1. What preparation was done before recording?

2. What was your overall impression of the presentation?

3. What did you like most about the presentation?

4. What should you work to improve for the next presentation?

Design:

1. How does your presentation embody a static state?

2. What other architectural terms would you use to describe your project?

You should also use at least five architectural terms in your presentation. See the links to Words that
Architects use: Architect Bingo Card #1-#4 for terminology. Presentations will be uploaded to the
dropbox and played for the class with discussion to follow.
