TECHNICAL LEAD
ROLE PROFILE

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Technical Lead with 10 to 12 years of experience to build software using languages and
technologies of the .NET framework. The candidate should be able create applications from scratch,
configure existing systems and provide user support. In this role, the candidate should be able to
write functional code with a sharp eye for spotting defects. The candidate should lead a team and an
excellent communicator. The candidate should be passionate about the .NET framework and
software design/architecture, will be responsible to maintain the quality of code.

KEY FEATURES OF THE POSITION

Core Functions & Activities

 Participate in requirements analysis


 Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
 Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages
 Test and deploy applications and systems
 Manage the code repository in TFS and ensure code quality
 Revise, update, refactor and debug code
 Improve existing software
 Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
 Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support

Client Management (internal & external)


 The role will require managing internal stakeholders, setting expectations, and delivering on
them
 External client interaction is not required

Regulatory Responsibilities &/OR Risk Management


 Role will have no regulatory responsibility
 Understanding of risks related to processes, technology and regulation is required

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION

 Should be able to interact professional and socially with senior management
 Should have a likeable personality that allows person to build bridges within the organization

Professional and Technical


 BE / BTech / MCA with 10+ years of work experience in software development with experience
in leading and managing development team
 Expertise with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g.
Model-View-Controller (MVC))
 Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g. C#, Visual Basic .NET) and HTML5/CSS3
 Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
 Understanding of Agile methodologies
 Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
 Experience of 8-10 yrs in SQL Server with expertise in Optimization and fine tuning
 Knowledge of JS frameworks such AngularJS, ViewJS or ReactJS will be an added advantage
 Excellent understanding of Rest/Soap API development
 Knowledge of web servers like IIS and Node JS
 Working knowledge in Agile/Scrum environment for development
 Knowledge on performance & security testing
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills
 Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
 Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
 Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
 Strong supervisory and leadership skills
 Project management – ability to plan schedules, define tasks and track progress
