Narrative Report of the Intramurals Theme: “Sienans through space and time, rigging smarts,

vesting sports, and conjoining socio-culture.”

Intramurals is the most awaited events in every school wherein the student in every
department has its own competitors in different fields of sports. Wherein all departments,
involving Radiology Technology Department and Midwifery Department. With the theme
“Sienans through space and time, rigging smarts, vesting sports, and conjoining socio-
culture”, the three day intramurals which started May 6 till May 8, 2024.

On May 6, the first day of the celebration started with a school mass to bless and give
guidance to each faculty, teachers, students and athletes involved in the games.

The intramural started by a parade with faculty teachers, and all the students in NDHSCCI.
We have a team shirt for each of the team; Green for the team CHIEFS. Navy Blue for the
team ENOERORS. Orange- rusty for the team ADMIRALS. GRAY for the team REBELS.
After the parade all the students are gathered in the covered court for the opening program
such as; Team’s flag raising. Lighting of the torch, a torch symbolizing peace and unity, and
emphasizing a borderless society, will light the urn during the opening ceremony of the 2018
intramurals. Afterwards, school conducted oath of sportsmanship that led by Mr. Acosta,
Student Activity Coordinator.

To start the opening program, an Opening Salvo by Dance and Theatre Club welcomed the
excited students. Upon this, Mr and Ms Intramurals 2024 are introduced.

For the formal opening of the Intramurals 2024, Sr. Caroline S. Capili, OP declares that the
Intramurals is officially opened.

Now for the most awaited part of the program is the bench cheering competition. Where the
students with a maximum number of 50 will perform bench cheering In front of the judges. .
An event wherein students showcase their creativity, confidence and fostering teamwork and
friends.
After the announcement of the winners for bench cheering (team ADMIRALS). The games
started, we had volleyball.

On May 7, the second day of intramurals the game of table tennis, chess tournament, scrabble
tournament and language fest began. All players and representatives are very competitive to
represent their teams. Students had the opportunity to achieve individual and team goals.It is
also a great way to meet new people, reconnect with friends, and continue playing the sports
that they have grown too love and to develop.The facilitators studied the rules and regulations
of the games to be able to comply with the needs of the game and this is our duty to be
scorers, linesmen, umpire but still we observed the game and we learned something new.

At night the search for Mr. & Ms. Intramurals 2024 was held. All the candidates are stunning
and beautiful in their school uniforms, sports attire, and evening gowns. They show
sportsmanship, fellowship and fair play, they acquire knowledge and skills required for the
future. The winners of the search for Mr. & Ms. Intrams are both in ARTE Department, Ms.
Mikaella Vivien Orinday - Team Admirals and Mr. Norhan Nor - Team Rebels students.

On May 8, the third day of intramurals. From all the events the home of brilliant and
disciplined students, proved themselves that in terms of sports made them succeed and win in
the different sports activities they had joined. The awarding of the winners or the
championship games was held. The overall champion of the intramurals this year was then
announced. The title of A overall CHAMPION was awarded to the team REBELS.

With the awarding of the winners all done, the end of the ceremony has finally closed. And
the victory ball was held at the gymnasium. All the students can now enjoy and celebrate the
victory. The event was closed by SSG President Mr. Al-hassim Eskak with his heartfelt and
inspiring message. Finally, all the muscle pains, tiredness and lack of sleep are all worth it
because the event was successfully done.
