    ‫تصميم مبنى متعدد الطوابق‬: (4-Floors).

    General Directions:
    1. Draw your plan to a suitable scale and show the locations of the
    columns.
    2. Draw two sections for the four floors showing the different structural
    elements and staircase. Use floor height of 3.2m
    3. Design the building using BS8110 Parts 1&3 and the examples in the
    reference books. Design calculations should be tidy, clean, and
    supported with the relevant sketches and reference BS tables.
    4.For design calculations use the format used for solved examples in
    the Power Point lectures.
    5.Design the 4 types of floor slabs, use different one for different floor.
    6. Use the Moment Distribution Method to get the moments & shear
    forces for your design.
    7.Prepare the following drawings:
    a) Foundation layout including a schedule of footings and a typical
    footing detail.
    b) Schedule of columns and typical column detail.
    c)Sections of all (4) types of slabs used in the building including all
    details.
    d)Beams schedule and details.
    e) Staircase plan, sections & details.
