Assignment-IV (Projection Solid)

Subject-Engg. Graphics (BT-105)

1. A right regular pentagonal prism side of base 25 mm and axis 50 mm long lies
on H.P. on one of its rectangular faces such that the axis is parallel to H.P. and
inclined at 30 degree to V.P. Draw the projections of the solid.
2. A square pyramid of face side 40 mm and axis 55 mm is resting on one of its
triangular faces on the H.P. A vertical plane containing the axis is inclined at 45
degree to V.P. Draw its projections.
3. A Hexagonal pyramid of base side 30 mm and axis 60 mm has an edge of its
base on the ground inclined at 45 degree to the V.P. and the axis is inclined at 30
degree to the H.P. Draw its projections.
4. A tetrahedran of 75 mm long edges has one edge parallel to the H.P. and
inclined at 45 degree to the V.P., while a face containing that edge is vertical.
Draw its projections.
5. Draw the projections of a cone, base 50 mm diameter and axis 60 mm long,
resting on HP on a point of its base circle with the axis making an angle of 30
degree with HP and its top view making an angle of 45 degree with V.P.
6. A ride regular pentagonal prism edge of base 30 mm and height 75 mm is
resting on one of its base edges in H.P. and inclined at 30 degree to V.P. and the
face containing that edge inclined 45 degree to the H.P. Draw the projections of
solid.
